@zehaha BC's are done more in real-time so that they don't feel like cutscenes amidst a battle. The short duration also keeps the battle pace going--especially compared to some of Tales of Abyss/Vesperia's mystic artes that take up to 20 secs to finish.

Executing 3 mystic artes (something very common in vesperia and abyss) already takes up a minute. So 1/5 of the battle was spent basically watching a cutscene...
Well, I'm not going to say I dislike the other style cut-ins, because no matter how they do it, it usually adds to the epicness. But I agree 100%, and I thought the same with Destiny too. Actually, now that I think about it. People should compare these to ToS:DotNW's Mystic Artes. No complaints anymore~
Rumors say Europe will get this game this year, although it was said it was supposed to be around this time. Still, an English release sounds likely. Perhaps we will see something at E3? Here's hoping.

Destiny and Vesperia for example are worlds apart in presentation and combat, but both appeal to me for slightly different reasons. Keyword for both being "fun". I'd say Graces does a good job of bringing the best from both, and well... I suppose Blast Caliburs do go by a little fast, but it's just to keep up the pace. =/
Nice video, I think the fast BC allows you to keep on the combos, making the game pretty active and considering the Battle System, I think its almost perfect. Sorry, just a question, does any one have played ToG on a 4.2U Wii, using Gecko OS? Does it work? :S
@RigedForFalure Isn't Tales of Destiny RE considered a mothership title too? Also, we never got Rebirth which was also a mothership title on a successful platform (PS2).
Well, I personally liked pictures at the begining. Because stopping the move at the climax of a Mystic Artes and replacing it with a picture looks weird to me...
@Bobownzall1 you can't spam abilities whenever you want, there is a system, but I'm not exactly sure how it works. They will most likely not release in America and even if they did, they are not changing the elements of the game and giving us TP.
Um, they've used cameo characters before that weren't English releases. See: Nanaly in Tales of the Abyss. And Radiant Mythology had quite a few Japan only characters. If the game doesn't come out here, it won't be because of that.
@TalesOfOurFantasy I wouldn't really call it an improvement if its something they already did previously but then dropped until this game. Blast calibers were awesome for the destiny remake but then it gets reintroduced into yet another game I doubt we'll see localized.
I know this sound stupid, but when Fredrick does his blast calibur, the person who hits Asbel along with Fredrick, that person looks similar to Aston Lhant, Asbel's father! Of course I could just be mistaken :(.
I just have to say this but like the 2nd enemies' BC is kinda on the plain side compared to every other persons, even the cute chicken has one that looks more flashy xD, oh and yay for za warudo!!!

@LJkAze I think that the Team Destiny games are some of the better ones. Sad that we don't get them. But if we got it I can see alot of people complain about how different and challenging the game is from other entries in the series.
If this gets released in the US, great. If not, I can deal with that. I still have to finish Vesperia, so it might good if we don't get this Tales game. I don't really care for the story or characters that much this time around.

God i love the Blast Caliber at 3:27 its just so well made and its cool as hell especially for a young girl thats also a boss.
