Kratos can't die because the Cruxis crystal that he wears stops the bodies natural aging process, it actually stops his internal clock. That's why a Seraphim can't die from aging.
@boboanime123 Okay, people. Let me clarify this for you. The CG version of TOS only has Lloyd, Genis, and Collete's hi ougi. The PS2 version has the hi ougi for all of the characters. Hence, the reason why I feel limited with my GC version. Understand now?

It's special because it's one of the highlights in the Game Cube RPG library, which was really small to begin with. So it stands out quite a lot. Not to mention it had a good combat system and the cell-shaded graphics were great.
..... Abyssion scares me now... I never knew he could bust out half the party's specials! Falcon's Crest, Indignation Judgement, and the others I can't seem to remember... I'll never look at him like just a plain old "evil incarnate" again!
This is the PS2 port of Tales of Symphonia. They added many things, such as new Hi-Ougis for everyone who didn't have one before (except Shihna/Sheena, whose Summons were made into Hi-Ougis via a cut-in), of which this is an exhibition.
Oh, and the American version lacks a lot because Nintendo, not Namco, owned the rights to the publication of Tales of Symphonia AND its translation. Had Namco published the game and Hometek translated it, we would have seen a US PS2 release.

It's probably Kratos' signature move. There's a "Tales of Fandom" or somethingrather game also by namco that suggests it, so he likely taught Mithos and Zelos the move. As for Abyssion, he probably only has it cause he's the extra boss.
I don't think that's the case. I've managed to get the lower quality version on this computer by simply refreshing the page. On another computer, I've never been able to view the better quality version.
Presea's Last one "Crimson Destruction" is very devastating. I like it though, it shows the destructive capability and true power of an axe. Thumbs up for Presea's last one! I also like shining bind and divine judgement.

AT least tales of chronicles lets us in the other countries re live this with all the hi out is and added content in tales of chronicles. And the option to play in English or Japanese makes me happy :)

Final Fury is Regal's Tales of Symphonia 2 hi ougi. The one he does here isn't the same. You just have to watch a video in which Regal (ToS2) does his hi ougi in the japanese version. The name is "Satsugeki Boukoken" (Final Fury). The one in ToS PS2 version (this video) is Garen Zesshuugeki.
Yep XD. It'll also come packed with dual audio too. Though, this isn't the only Tales coming stateside next year. Tales of Xillia 2 as well. Which was confirmed via July's Japan Expo (France).
It appears to be an instrumental version of Starry Heavens by Day After Tomorrow, which is the opening song for the Japanese Gamecube version of the game.

@jokiu4 Actually, most of the bosses in the Game Cube version have Hi-Ougi too. If you fight a boss in Hard or Mania, they'll use a Hi-Ougi. I noticed this when I fought the final boss on Hard for the first time, and he used Indignation Judgement right after I used it at the start. Kvar, Magnius, Pronyma, and even Volt have been seen using theirs too :D They're just missing the anime cut-ins, however >_>'
@wwh92 also the european and american release of ToS2 had additional features like head accesories(europe only), skit library(europe only), motion controlled shortcuts(nobody ever uses them and the whole being able to load a complete save data from original ToS for a reward at the beggining of the game
That's Abyssion. You get to fight him in a sidequest for the Devil's Arms, which is, by far, the strongest items in the game. (It adds 1 attack power everytime you defeat an ememy, technically.)
@pikalink2 thats because Nintendo limited the gamecube to 1.6gb mini DVDs Tales of Symphonia is about 2.3gb thats about the same size as Kingdom Hearts which was a short game Kingdom Hearts 2 used up way more and this is without the extras that the Final Mix Disc had. Its just like Tales of Phantasia the original didn't have Mystic Artes but the PS1 added 2 for Cless and the PSP version added voices for all scenes(or most) This was just extra ideas thats all.
Note: After you beat him, each individual character's kills increases the stats of the devils arms, so they become the most powerful weapons in the game, even though when you equip them in the menu it says they have horrible stats.
This is the Japanese version of the game. If you know anything about Japanese, you know that they use Katakana to represent foreign words. From what I've learned, English words are often considered 'cooler' and so the game designers will use English words for spell/tech names (e.g. "Shining Bind"). However, the Japanese language only has certain consonant/vowel combinations, so Shining Bind becomes "Shainingu Baindo."
Hmm, it seems that occasionally when I watch this video I get a very good quality version; like I was actually watching the game on my television. Other times, it is lower quality with blurry parts. I've tried it on another computer, and I have never seen the good quality version. Has this happened to anyone else?
Why call it chronicles without a Mithos version of what he went through. Srsly though, Mithos, made pacts with all spirits, stopped wars with two different people, went through making those two crystals, learning how to wield a sword, the loss of his sister, the loss of his friends, the destruction of the world, the separation of the world into two. There is SO much story from the backstory alone, it should be a game already. Mana cannon anyone?

Its also why the updated PS2 version didn't release outside of japan. And if you thought this was unfair look at all the extras Tales of Graces F(PS3) has over the Wii version extra DLC Music,Costumes,Excel. Mode,and Future Arc So its all about money luckily Graces F is being released in the US

Actually the US name is Sacred Shine. I know it was a beta tech in ToS, but Raine got it in Radiant Mythology.

That was "Starry Heavens" by Day after Tomorrow. It's also the main Tales of Symphonia theme in Japan. Look it up.

Because when Lloyd hits the ground he takes like 2k damage, but you can't die from it so it takes him down to 1 hp.
