They weren't mad, more so shocked by the boldness of the bm of flashing BOTH the FPX and IG logos. It was a damn good bm, but definitely caught the casters off guard when it's only the first game of the finals.
G2 Wunder: "DWG isn't even a threat" he wasn't even a threat to nuguri. nuguri was spanking wunder's ass all game long even nuguri was on a losing match-up. wunder wasn't even a threat to DWG. and G2 wasn't even a threat to DWG. cause DWG was hard destroying them.

Loved that Intro: excellent use of CGI and the human form. Was fun to watch.
The event planners and artistic designers did their jobs well. With the limitations surrounding Covid, the intro was very well thought out and done. I enjoyed the parallels between how the map changes in game, how the race changed to a maze, and how life changes at a moment's notice.
May be because i dont like this dancy body expression stuff but i think it wasnt very good, the part where they ran through the narrow floors with the team icons was really cool tho.
Also the fiery stage looky super dope tho

Nice champion-select. The old one was so much better. Names can be easily read. The order is the same for both teams (not that annoying mirror image). The pick timer is clearly visible. Shame that they changed it to that new one.

I wouldn’t say that much. They’re clearly a step above every other team that’s not on the level of say TES or obviously DWG. That in itself is a pretty long list. If anything despite losing the fact is that they’re still a contender and it looks good for years to come if they stick together.
This tournament did show that besides G2 and to a lesser extent FNC, Europe is pretty much a one team region, it’s just that there one team is one of the worlds best. Easily top 10, arguable top 5.
