Tomer: negative consequences are scary......
Richard: YOLO!!!!!
Richard backing out of the Lich's Mastery with Harmless Offering was gold.
Spoilers -_-
Lol Sorry. Figured most people would watch the video before reading comments XD
@@polbulanosalto7403 Don't come to the comment section before watching the video, common sense.
how it started: crim playing a zombie deck
how it's going: everyone's playing a zombie deck except crim; he's playing birds
Tomer and Richard, learning the hard way that liches get stitches.
Seth having rampage of the clans through the whole game is this one of best slow roles
Yeah it was a great slow roll
I was surprised seth didn't second harvest end of turn harmonise and try to clans, which would be lethal so it would force the only counter and then on seths turn he could have done all he did but there would have been no more counter
Wasn't a slow roll he never used it lol
@@bigwig8657 well, in paper (no mtgo crash), he gets infinite mana, plays the hand, then wheels. If he hits any removal spell for the witness he can just eternalize it and get the lethal elementals (wasn't paying attention to if there was a fog, but he could have also drawn other sweet stuff, answered bird, etc)
Looks like he didn't have the mana for the fog, so it was very likely lethal that turn
I laughed way too hard when Richard used Harmless Offering and Seth called him Lichard 1:36:00
59:52 crim asking richard to counter and him cycling into a counterspell then watching him decide if it's worth it to assist crim is delicious
Seth: Going infinite with Manaliths
MTGO: Chill Seth. Chill. I got this.
Narrator: But it did not got this
(Modo did not have this)
I'd love to see a Lich week were everyone plays this kind of suicidal decks.
I am very okay with that, lol
Yes please or licid tribal week
Commander Clash Moment. Harmless Offering Lich's Mastery
I live for Richard's sly smile when he cycles into a pact of negation "just to see" what he gets, and then he doesn't counter the mana drain
Tomer at 1:04:20 - "Do what you want, Im not complaining anymore" riiiiiiiiiiiggghhhtttttt
It wouldn't be everyone losing, It would be everyone losing but Tomer. He has Lich's Mastery!
Revenge weeks are so fun! I love what every deck was doing here!
That's twice within 30 days that a player has either opted to crash mtgo or ended up crashing mtgo before playing Rampage of the Clans.
I mean why did Seth have to double the Manaliths again? Weren't 80 Centaurs enough???
19:52
As Tomer is surrounded by zombies and liches he decided to became an entity from a horror movie
My favorite start to my Saturday mornings is to get my coffee, turn on the TV and watch the latest MTGColdfish Commander ep ... cheers from sunny QLD, Downunder!!!!
I really cannot grasp how you don't have more subs to the channel. Like with how popular the regular channel is and how popular commander is, this channel should be busier than the home channel.
It’s likely a combination of Seth v Tomer (Seth has more fans. Compare Crim’s stuff on the main channel to Seth’s) and the largely inactive subs. CZcams’s sub counts v viewer counts never match up. More competition for EDH videos as well. I do love both though.
MTGO commander is complicated to watch.
The main channel has been around for years while the commander channel has been around for months, give it time
This episode is pure gold. Revenge week did not disappoint.
To answer Seth's question about Maskwood Nexus synergies (near 12:00) , I personnally use it it my commander deck Atla Palani, Nest Tender, since it makes all my creature eggs and help generate even more eggs if I have mana. So each time one of my creature dies, it's simply replaced by another one. (I just need an ulamog or whatever to shuffle my graveyard in my library and then i'd be able to go infinite on creatures)
Imagine if someone had casted a burn spell on Dralnu and Tomer responded with reins of power
I figured out what the Maskwoof Nexus is for!
It's an artifact for Hellkite Tyrant!
from what i can tell. its there for battlesphere triggers, tapping all your creatures to dome someone. for the precursor golems spell replication ability. regisaur alpha becomes a universal haste source. gilt leaf archdruid. other gimmicks like that
Great Aurora is broken on modo. It shuffles your tokens into your deck and allows you to draw them...so the token/Aurora player is actually at a disadvantage and ends up with the least permanents very often.
Idk if ya'll are still looking to build up some ideas for future weeks, but what if you did a precon week? Everyone chooses a favorite precon from any point in time and plays the exact list. It'd be interesting to see how the different decks fare against each other as the power level and design philosophy shifted over time
sadly, not all cards make it onto MTGO, especially for supplemental sets like Commander Precons. So to play a list "as is", they'd have to comb through every precon and see which ones had every card available first
Fun fact: you can't actually flashback cyclonic rift. Overload is an alt casting cost, so you have to flashback the 2 mana version of it.
That was a fun revenge week. And Crim's poignant point at the end was hilarious.
Dralnu Doomtide is an insane deck, and Dralnu is a crazy commander.
Can you change the name of the merch website to Richard's garage? I think I would remember the website name better that way.
49:45 that was so good
that really cracked me up
ty tomer
Richard has the best deck of any game of any season, hands down
One of the simpliest, durdliest nothing happens episodes but it is still so gooood. The harmless lich was gold and so was the rampage in hand
"It's not longer a budget, so fear not" 😆
We are all in agreement that giving Tomer Lich's Mastery was the 2nd best moment ever on here lol
This one left me wondering, do you see each other while playing or are the cams just for the viewers?
Crim, plays zombie tribal, everyone else “zombie tribal”
On this week of "Punt or Bluff?" will Seth make Tomer sacrifice his whole board or will Richard ascend to lichdom and victory? Tune in to find out!
Every time I see Dralnu, all I want is to see a blasphemous act cast
Great game. I loved the outros
Glad to see Lich Tribal getting a second chance. Plus, with the new Lich cards in AFR, it'll have some new additions in the future.
If Seth would have wheeled with the e-witness in hand, he could have made infinite copies of the eternalize token e-witness by making copies of it with the token doubler. That would let him regrowth more spells every time. Also it would have wheeled away Richards pact.
Seth with over 100 mana in play and trying to double his mana again "I NEED MORE MANA!!"
Omg I loved that Offering.
Seth really flew too close to the sun in this one
Wait... what would have happened if Richard died while Tomer controlled his Lich's Mastery? Because Mastery would exile itself as Richard dies, right? Would that make Tomer lose the game?
It ceases to exist, so Tomer would be fine
Both it and the lose the game trigger are exiled so nothing to Tomer.
I'm not a judge so take my input with a grain of salt, but I believe Tomer would lose unless he was the very last player in the game.
Leaves-the-battlefield triggers "look back in time" (rule 603.10a) and a triggered ability is owned by the player who controlled the source at the time it triggered (603.3a) so it wouldn't vanish from the stack if Richard loses the game.
However if Tomer were the very last person in the game he would win due to rule 104.2a: "A player still in the game wins the game if that player’s opponents have all left the game. This happens immediately and overrides all effects that would preclude that player from winning the game." so being donated a Lich or Nine Lives card isn't a guaranteed loss.
If I'm incorrect, please correct me! I'm putting together a Blim, Comedic Genius so I've been trying to read up on the relevant rules :-)
@@Spotifist you are correct a judge friend of mine took someone with him by koing himself after gifting him lich's mastery
We need a lich encore under Acererak Archlich! Mono black devotion + zombies sorta.
Even better: Lich Week. Everyone plays a Lich commander and has to run all 3 Lich enchantments.
REVENGE CLASH ON!!!
So question: if Richard died after donating LM, would Tomer have lost because the LM would no longer be there? If so, couldn't Seth have gotten back the Intervention, and made two big enough to kill Richard and Crim? Might have miscounted the mana but it seemed like there was enough.
Yes tomer would have lost
If crim doesn't play a xanathar commander deck for the adventures show I will genuinely be disappointed haha
Revenge week is pretty unfair. It limits Richards options very hard. :P
Im a bit sad about Seth's choice cause I was loooking foward for Vorinclex charge counters tribal xD maybe next time
We definitely need an episode on back stabbing
Rampage would have destroyed cover of darkness, I think.
As a member of "The CZcamss" I can concur that we would like you Dralnu Tomer out of the game. More blood, we desire blood.
Might be a little spikey for some playgroups but land destruction Selvala is def the way to go, too easy to break parity
Gotta agree with Tomer that the politics is getting a bit much. That said, he is also part of that problem. Richard being one of the few players to NOT politics-people is really refreshing. I like Crim, and I love his streams, but between him and Tomer literally every play is one of the two trying to politics everyone or direct the game or a player to do what they want. Lol. I'd love to see a game where people just play their cards without being guilted into some spoken pact of how they should play their turns because half the table is trying to tell people how to play. :(
We literally sat there for 4 turns with Tomer & Crim politicking back and forth while Seth kept the peace when he could have been playing cards. Is "Friends?" A meme yet?
I mean the politics became so bad a week or so ago that Richard literally had to stop to say: "Why is every move a team-decision/politics?". It would be neat to see a game where it isn't people trying to politics their way to a win.
Next Commander Clash: No Politics, No Friends, No Mercy. ;)
So… just Cedh then?
This week we are playing zombie week
They arent wearing the shirts becausr the moths in richards garage ate them
Seth doesnt destroy a single of Tomers permanents. Seth doesnt attack Tomer. Tomer -> Seems like Seth is my enemy.
Tomer was afraid of red removal like last game with dralnu
tomer became mickey mouse there for a moment.
Third time's the charm Crim!
I think the Seth would won this turn
Tomer ya gotta start dropping some MEAN decks. They do nothing but try and kill ya anyways without worrying about each other at all right from the start, so just make it make sense at least.
Crim's version of politics:
Don't mess with my board so I can pop off.
Seth could have went infinite with second harvest and tireless witness
Seth's not even running that red-green cost reduction Goblin from Modern Horizon 2?
Revenge!
How can Seth do revenge/second chance week and NOT do Hans Eriksson?!? He played it once, I don’t even know if he cast his Commander, then died. Come on Seth, it’s YOU on a card, how can you NOT give it another chance???
I thought about it, but I actually did play it a second time (on Commander Clash Live when Gavin was guesting) and it sort of went off, so I figured I should probably do something else this time.
does anyone know what they're playing on?? lmao
If Rampage of the Clans would have been played then Cover of Darkness would not have been on the table and Crim's Bird would not have been unblockable. Seth would have won this week.
Crim's bird would've been unblockable in that centaurs don't fly, and Seth didn't have flyers on board. Yeah he had the Hellkite in hand, but don't we all watch Commander Clash because its the puntiest?
I wish someone else played Dralnu. Someone who's not against playing their own commander for fear of the unknown
Seth could have won without crashing MTGO I think. Just Witness back the Purphoros' Intervention, cast it for 17 to kill Crim and Richard, then Rampage of the Clans to blow up the Lich's Mastery to kill Tomer.
Or nevermind, killing Richard kills Tomer too because the Lich's Mastery leaves play when he dies.
The tooltips not showing up the past couple games is messing with me. Not a fan.
Why Lichard! Why do you forsake your name!
We need more tomer punishment he basically never cast creatures and just draws all day so hopefully people will hit him more often
Clash on!
Sad he didn't fire off the clans immediately
Dralunu is really just worse Kess in every way isn’t he?
Until you have a dramatic reversal or the dramatic scepter combo with it, any way to untap dralnu can give you more value than kess, kess is just much safer
It's not easy been lich
So fade away punishs people f6ing.
literally every game turns out to be a kill tomer game...
Booooooooo Richard sucks. Count it as a win for Seth.
Another Grixis game of boring game play. Please mix up the stipulations. This is getting stale.
This game was great
Only Crim played Grixis - and played Grixis completely the opposite of how he normally played it. I mean it may not be your thing still, but your complaint is an exaggeration. This game was awesome.
