Sure, Lebron is old. But he has AD who is 7th in MVP odds. He himself is 9th. He has DLo, a former and borderline current Allstar. He's playing a Nuggets team who has 1 MVP and zero Allstars, former or current (apart from bench man DeAndre Jordan from 8 years ago). Jamal Murray is the only Allstar-caliber player on the Nuggets. Maybe you can argue Aaron Gordon or KCP should make All-Defensive. But that's it. Plus, MJ was in his 2nd and 3rd season (didn't even get to play his 2nd season). In addition, MJ had to play BO5s whereas Lebron gets BO7s now, meaning he gets 4 chances to stop a sweep instead of 3. Still not enough help though, I guess.

But I don't think he realized he had made all those Finals because he was playing against a consistently weaker Eastern Conference. Once he moved over to the Western Conference, and he was no longer making Finals every year, there really isn't any debate, especially when combined with all the flopping, team hopping, playing GM, etc. to try to give himself the most ideal situations to win and still failing to win.
