hello this request video would be very much appreciated ok?thank you very much 😊
The real head scratcher is for some of the older machines. Someone noted, tension before take up....remembering that will help you figure the right path (because sometimes it is not obvious). I don't care for universal needles. I like to piece with Microtex, and I use a cottonized polyester (Decobob 80wt). It helps keep the bulk out of complex blocks.
@notesfromleisa-land I haven't tried the deco bob thread yet. Do you like it? Thank you for your comment, TJ
@@tjwrightquilts I love it. I use Dove Grey, and you will not see it in blacks, navy, reds because it is both fine and strong. I used to use Aurofil, but I love the finer thread. I pretty nebbish, so I test "stuff" to find my preferences. I found (and initially believed) that there is cotton threads should be used exclusively for piecing and dismissiveness of polyester. I will never go back. I came to learn that some of the "old wives tales" about polyester were just that. Give it a try--a Microtex needle 75 or 80 will work well.
@@notesfromleisa-land I will remember that. I think my LGS may carry it. Thanks for the tip.
