    I have a Kioti DK551 which is now 12 years old. About 1100 hours. I have a 5 ft slasher & a 4in1 bucket. I have done some pretty heavy work but am careful not to overload it or break anything. Recently I used it with a round bale grabber and spread some fertiliser. Other than regular servicing I have done nothing to the tractor. I don’t need to buy a new tractor but if I did I would buy another Kioti.

    500 commercial hours of hard work, tilling, mowing, chipping, loading, clearing, lifting, digging, trenching, splitting, spreading, levelling, plowing, snow blowing, brush hogging, skidding, grading, towing, and even parading! Not 1 break down…. At any temperature any weather, any time.
    Love it!

    I also have the ck2610 I bought it a little over a year ago and I am almost at 500 hours I use it on my farm and for my business occasionally. I have only had 1 issue with it blowing a hydraulic line and they are super expensive to replace almost double the price of the same length hose on my bobcat and not easy to come across where I live either because they are British fittings and not a lot of places carry them I guess, But overall the 2610 has been an excellent tractor and besides the hose blowing I haven’t had any other issues with it. I am glad I made the purchase it has lots of power and has done everything I have asked it to do from plowing feet of snow to mowing fields. I highly recommend buying one.

    I had been looking at buying a Kubota and then a friend told me to check out Kioti, and after doing my research on these things I'll be getting a CK3520SE Cab tractor. Dealer quoted me the tractor plus several attachments for $41k, the Kubota dealer wanted almost $60k for an LX4020 and that was just with a loader and snowblower. The Kioti blows the Kubota out of the water with its loader capacity and price so I'll be going with that!

    I'm on my second Kioti CK2610! My first was purchased in 2015 to replace a 2003 Farm Pro (Jinma 2 cylinder diesel.) I used it extensively to pull a Land pride 7200 finish mower, and a five-foot aerator along with lifting and light dirt work with the bucket. In 2020, my daughter had moved onto her own acreage and needed a tractor, so I gave her mine and purchased my second Kioti. I did add a third hydraulic function to the lift and bought it with a grapple, which I have used extensively for moving brush and logs and clearing vines. I have picked up unbelievable logs, some 30 inches in diameter almost six feet long, and crunched up lots of brush while loading into a trailer. With a tooth bar for digging on the bucket, I cut a bench or our sloped property roughly 20 X 40, about 4 feet deep at the back wall, and spread spall and gravel in preparation for placing 2 12 X 16 sheds. The only problems so far have been my fault - bending the front brush guard while breaking up large branches, and one of the front axle seals went out recently on the one I gave my daughter. All in all, these little tractors are built like tanks, take a lot of abuse and perform like champions.

      I agree these tractors are built like tanks! Man, that's cool that you gave your daughter your old tractor, that's a great gift. Hopefully, my daughter will want to find her own land someday.

    I am coming up on two years (155 hrs) on my CK3510SE open station with backhoe attachment. It does have an EGR system (no DEF fluid). I was worried about the pollution controls, but could not find a CK2610 cab model with the right features that I wanted. It does do a regen about every 30-50 hrs, but I just keep working through the regen and barely notice it. It helps to keep the rpms up to avoid more frequent regens. This is my second Kioti tractor, they both have run with hardly a hiccup with 350 hrs between the two. My biggest complaints are my closest dealer is three hours away and zero availability of Kioti accessories (mainly front and rear attachments). However, parts for serving are readily available.

    • @willhutchinson3242
      @willhutchinson3242 Před 10 měsíci +1

      An update. I finally found the CK2620SE cab model I was originally looking for in July of this year. I have about 25 hours on it so far. It does have a noticeable reduction in power compared to the CK3510, but so far can meet every challenge on my flat 2 acre parcel. I do have to run it on the county road occasionally up and down hills. That’s where I really notice the lack of power. It is much slower overall and can’t take an uphill grade without stalling in high range (range 3 on the shifter). If I push the throttle lever all the way up (I do have the linked pedal feature which I use all of the time), I can keep the motor from stalling going up the hill. BTW- I sold the CK3510 to a distant neighbor for $5000 more than I paid for it in 2021.

  • @mattgirgenti3595
    @mattgirgenti3595 Před 4 měsíci

    I bought my CK2610HST August of 2021. I would do it again in a heartbeat. It has worked great and used by several neighbors as well. They were all very surprised about its capability. you said it best 'it punches above its weight class'. I have a watered rear wheels, hydraulic top link, 3rd function, bucket, grapple, rotary mower, and a backhoe. All work great. Backhoe is a bit awkward, but gets the job done and better then a second machine. I added LED light bar to front and rear of ROPS, plus one 'portable' spot light with magnetic mount. HUGE help. Only issues I have had were from the install shop with some leaky connectors and loose wires. Easy fixes. Regular maintenance, and I know I can hop on it anytime, fire it up, and get to work. Never a second doubt. ... a big selling feature is knowing my 2610 has the same frame, engine, and hydraulic pump as the larger 3510. Means mine isn't breaking a sweat!

    I bought a CK2620 under a year ago. While I was driving it up the hill to a neighbors house, their nextdoor neighbor came out and told me that he has the exact same tractor. He pointed out that my tractor was smoking pretty good, he said that he was advised that his needed an adjustment to the higher elevation, and I should probably contact the dealership to get it adjusted. I didn't use it much until this winter, and noticed that when I was using it often, it was smoking heavily, and was filling the cab up with diesel smoke, and you could see a lot of smoke outside while at higher rpms. I would go home with my clothes and body smelling like diesel smoke, and my nose, eyes etc. burned for days afterward. I tried closong the vents, keeping the rear window closed, opening the rear window, every combination possible, including wearing a mask, but my nose and eyes would still burn, and I would smell like diesel exhaust, it was frustrating.
    I contacted the dealership, and told them about the issue, they stated that it happens to some of their tractors. I currently have no trailer to haul the tractor an hour and a half to the dealership. The dealership quoted me $600 to pick up the tractor, and drop it off back home, $300 each way. I was upset, as the dealership did not notify me of the tractor having issues with smoking at higher elevations when I bought it, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it. I emailed the dealership about my dissapointment, and the owner offered to pick it up and deliver it back to me for free. I currently have it scheduled to be picked up next week to get the adjustment, and have them do the 50 hour tuneup for me.
    If anyone wants an update let me know.

    • @JoelPanttila
      @JoelPanttila Před měsícem

      Did you get the smoke issue fixed? At what elevation are located?

    • @johnthree1611
      @johnthree1611 Před měsícem

      @@JoelPanttila , I got the smoke issue fixed. They initially wanted me to pay them $600 to pickup the tractor, to repair it, but I complained about that, so they picked it up for free, I did pay them $400 to do the 50 hour service. The first adjustment didn't work, and so they sent a tech to my house, because they wanted to have the elevation to verify that their adjustment would work.
      They ended up adjusting it to the max, so it lost a good amount of power, I have to drive it around on max power now, but it no longer smokes. It really sucks that it now has less power.
      If they would have just advised me when I bought it, that some tractors need to be adjusted, and that adjustment will lose a ton of power, I would have gotten a different tractor.

    @TomO-vy6bb Před 3 měsíci

    I have recently purchased a CK 2620. Within the first few days of using it, two items failed. The first item is the 3-point lever stop. That small little metal clip with the thumb screw that allows you to set the position of the lever in the lowering position. While trying to adjust it, it kept binding, so I loosened the thumb screw a little more, then heard something fall to the floor and the thumb screw pulled away. There is a nut on the underside that the thumb screw attaches to and there is nothing to prevent it from coming off if the thumb screw is loosened too much, not to mention how poorly it worked in the first place!
    Second item: the shifter knob came off in my hand. There is a set screw that holds it to the shifter rod, and it fell out completely. I found it on the floor.
    Now theses may seem like minor issues, but if this is how poorly this tractor is designed and engineered, what major issues are lurking ahead. Kioti should be ashamed.

    Had my CK3510 gear-drive since Oct 2021, have around 165 hr now, I went with Kioti because it was 5k cheaper then Kubota L3301 and the FEL comes standard with Quick-Connect bucket...
    My concern is all FEL mounting bolts and steel brackets on Kioti are not as thick and or as big as Kubota FEL mount brackets. IMO Kubota has stronger loader mounts, I also notice the front grill is not as strong as on Kubota either, in short I dont think this CK3510 will take the beating my L3400dt kubota did.........
    One good point for Kioti CK3510 gear, the shifter is in a lot better location then Kubota, and it shifts lot better then my Kubota. I had my L3400dt since 2007, it now has 1500 hrs, from day one it never shifted good, and ever since 800 hrs it's been getting stuck in 1st gear, I have to jerk the clutch to get it in neutral, very aggravating.......
    JD was way out of my budget and their 35 hp tractors dont come with 16" tires on front. I dont trust NH, theres to much mix and match going on from different countries. I would.ve given Bobcat a look see but the just moved close by last year, all other brands are over an hour away and I dont want to go over 30 mi for service.........

    • @bobchiggs
      @bobchiggs Před 9 měsíci +1

      I bought the Kubota 3301. I have 600 hours on it now and put about the same hours of maintenance into it. Mostly hydraulic problems but now the 3 cylinder engine runs on only 2 cylinders. I've gone through the filters, bleeding and all that but to check or change injectors....you can't even see the things. basically a complete dismantle to get to them. The whole top, including the dash and steering wheel have to come off. I'm looking for something else. All my other equipment is bigger, so Cat is favorite equipment by far.

      Yes, it is a great tractor for a first-time buyer. You can check your local dealer for pricing, but I paid more than $10,000 less than the comparable models from the big name manufacturers. If you're looking to move a lot of heavy logs, you may want to look at a heavier model.

I also had to replace the level indicator rod cause the dealer did such a butch job cutting it flush it was binding up inside it’s tube.
