What they don’t show you
Proceeds to take tourist tour
yeah i feel clickbaited too
Your teaser was deciving. You didn't show us anything new or unusual.
You didn't pay exactly $100 to see it for two days
I've never seen it at night 😳
@@coleemerald4094 I went there yesterday. Not as "magical" as they say! People were bored and some even wanted their money back!
Special kind of dumb people to feel this way over there
@@osaidhashmi the people who find these places boring have no cultural or historical appreciation. Its like taking a child to a zoo, watching animals but not educating them on the species, diet or habitit
How could a friend like yours , leave his friend josh, who needs you're help the most, just for this vlog..are you thinking... What if it happens to you.. Hope you experience it.. What a great friend!
I’m so happy I enjoyed this magnificent sight 25 years ago when it was left just as it was and not a tourist hub of commerce. ☺️
liar
I was there 60 yrs ago when writing my thesis on Nabataean Cultic and Mortuary Practices. I haven't been back ever since and its sad to see what has now become of it.
I was the 230000 years ago when it was the singularity and everything was one piece of dust
I used to live there when I was a kid.
Petra is amazing! How they built this, boggles the mind. Thanks for showing us. Great video guys!
See amazing places of our planet channel ellora caves video ,mind blowing Rock cut temples
I had the honor of visiting Petra back in 2009 and absolutely loved it. What a beautiful place to visit ❤️❤️
bad friend man!
I just spent two weeks there and I was on the same crunch time to mane it for Petra by night!!!! Highly recommend getting a Jordan Pass dude!
I love Jordan!
Spent a month there. Best month of my life
Dude these are not tones , it is palaces ,used for kings and royalty's and rich citizens, and it was used back before the clime change, So it has a huge plants cover and a lot of different types of birds and animals and a lot of water sources , and FoR GoD SicK the Nabitains were sheepers and farmers they wouldn't been able to built an engineercal miracle that would last for 2000 years in a hidden place between the mountains , and there is no evidence that connect these buildings with any other ancient buildings in the world , it's a unique ancient site and it could be +11,000 years old , all i'm saying this engineercal concepts might be the only evidence left from that time period
@@griffenfamily11lmao so much ur saying is plain wrong.
Of all of the places on earth that I would want to visit is Petra Jordan. I can remember seeing it in so many movies. To think such a place actually exists is amazing. Thank you for going along with Josh. Keep up the great videos. Your camera man is amazing.
The sky above Petra the most amazing energy, even through my android phone. Something about Petra.
They say it's a portal to the under world or Hell itself. Definitely a Erie place unfortunately
Your instincts was right. Petra was a historical place that was deleted in history for their agenda.
You may not have known how sick Josh really was but, that's no excuse for you leaving him hitchhike alone in a foreign country. As a friend and an exploration buddy you should have put your friends health first. I mean if he's saying he needs a hospital because, he doesn't feel right and you knowing that the condition of the climate is super hot and people can easily get dehydrated, that should have been a red flag in your head! Hey my friend is probably really sick from dehydration I shouldn't leave him and make sure he gets to the hospital safely
and steer clear of the monkeypox
maybe he should drink water
The night view is incredible!!! I'd like to visit Petra someday!!
One day is enough if you start early. Also time your visit either monday or wednesday or thursday as petra by night happens only on these days.
@@PicturesofJoy thank youuuu
What an incredible place! It's not only gorgeous and so intricately designed, but the fact that they pulled off the engineering needed for this project is really amazing!
What engineering? Its just a massive carving.
@@MrSupernova111 are you kidding me!!! Can't you see the exact symmetrical shapes !! It was all measured!! Do you know how these structures looked like !!! And what machines can carve such a thing !! And that huge room inside , a perfect shaped room carved in stone! Not only engineering , but actually out of this world !
@@lightholder1772 . That's not engineering you clown! Its just a fancy hole in a wall.
Engineering??
@@lightholder1772 considered its pre 12 century id say it was hand chizzled as no machines had been created. Its stine masonry also, not engineering. Two completely different things used in the same line of construction.
Cody incredible area. Awesome content and edit as usual. Real interesting place. Michael does a great job catching just the right shots. Great team!!!!!!!!!
Larry325 thank you!
Great film guys. I am enjoying your adventures. Thanks for sharing!
I've been inside Petra. There were no guards when I was there a decade ago. It's a large empty rectangular room, but tiny compared to my expectations.
Did you take any photos?
According to some theories Petra was a place where all demons had been kept. Other words the gates of hell.
@@thesightings4403 is there anything they hide there? like ancient secret underground tunnel etc?
U r so lucky...i really wants to know whats inside
I just want to point out : there is an other way to get to Petra and it is by public bus. Sky bus isn't only option. Yesterday i paid 7JOD and the bus was at 9am, at the southern bus station. The only.thing is you might have to wait a little bit because the driver won't leave before all the seats have been taken.
I'd love to visit this Jordan.
Imagine how amazing that feels eating cup noodles while theres an amazing view behind you
Can't believe you let your friend go alone to the hospital 3hours away, just to go take pictures somewhere else. Josh could have been seriously hurt and could have died if he went and yet you did not care and let him go by himself to the hospital in a foreign country, while he was ill.
how do you know this? was it posted somewhere?
@@christianmassuh5985 if you watch Josh's video he explains what happen to him and how his friends reacted (czcams.com/video/ondZFFh97xs/video.html)
@@isaisokay6099 thank you I see -- Looks like he was cool with it?
@@christianmassuh5985 i get what you mean but i felt more like he was blaming himself and felt like a burden to them cause they didnt want to go with him in to the hospital. Personally, I would never let my friend go by himself to a hospital 3h away from where i am, in a foreing country... Anyway, at least everyone is okay!
This was a very interesting video. I just found this channel and I am enjoying every one of your episodes. You should try getting a full show on the history or discovery channels. I really like the theme music at the start of the show to.
You should check out Exploring With Josh
@@isaisokay6099 Thanks, I will.
Awesome guys, thank you so much for bringing a distant world up close! 👐👍🏻
Shoutout to the dog taking a piss @5:05
What a legend.
Wow they charge for Petra now? I was there in 1998 when assigned to the Multinational Forces & Observers and a group of us traveled there. At that time, no cost to go into Petra and the "treasury" as it was called back then. All free moving to see every thing. Things have changed, but good to see it today!
I'll have to up load our funny video of Petra, Jordan in the near future. You can compare from your video to 1998. Regardless, great place to visit with a lot of history!
I always wanted to go there. Petra in really unbelievable. My grandmother told me to see Petra and the Pyramids.
Still on my list.
You have to come and visit Petra..always welcome to my home town
Wow that is absolutely beautiful ❤️
Thank you for a great video. Petra is bigger than I imagined. An interesting place for sure. ❤️😁
$100 isnt bad. Heck, I would rather pay that than to pay $500 to see the Eagles in concert.
i'm surprised that cup of noodle was "Pop Mie" 🤣🤣
Amazing nah lol 😆
mendunia
jauh jauh ke petra makan pop mie wkwk
Ive said it before but i love these.
Beautiful Petra Jordan I love it thanks for sharing your beautiful vedio god bless you always keep safe
Must have been there a similar time to you. Just made it for Petra by Night which was cool. The hike up to the Monastery wasn't so fun - but the hike back after a full day of walking was the worst! :P
cool shot of you & the cat- he must have reminded you of Kiwi the cat at home...
I don't think that a Swiss explorer would have been the only one to rediscover Petra. Petra citizens went in to the different communitys. They know it was there.
Really nice videos. Keep it up. 👏🏼
WOW...
You can save on the entry fee by purchasing the Jordan pass which will cover your visa fees and gives you access to almost all sites in Jordan including Petra. However, you have to stay in Jordan minimum 3 or 4 nights and you have to purchase online prior to arriving to get the deal. Petra at night is NOT included and you will have to purchase that separately on the day.
Beautiful! Thank you again, Cody! I enjoy these adventures!
Thank you !!! July 22nd Thursday 2021 ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️🌺🌺🌺🌸🌸🌸🌹🌹🌹🌷🌷🌷🥰🥰🥰😊😊😊
I think this place will look greater in sunset then in night-time
Fun video! Thanks for sharing!
Thank You , Love it.
I figured it out. What they don't show you is only what Cody has. They don't have Cody's body in front of every shot, but Cody does.
Thank you for sharing the video👍
Thank you for the content
How many takes to get Cody’s walk and talk down the steps in the beginning?
Awesome tips Cody !
Wow it looks so cool!!!
Great videos brother keep going
Thanks ❤️ I love your videos.
Definitely on my bucket list of places to visit. Since I’m a huge fan of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Which was filmed at Petra. Thanks for providing all the cool info.
so was conan
Hi! Ur tour was great.
May i know by what month is a good time to go there that is not hot?
Great video you have inspired me to go here
I was there September 26-27 2022. Not even a week ago 😊
Amazing. Thank for you share.
love your videos very much
Stunning! Thanks!
I just was there last week! Not sure what the title was about? I was expecting you to show me something I hadn't seen. Lol.
Looks amazing!💖
Cody! Greeting, I will watch this video, thanks
Where'd you get your scarf?
3:55 that popmie caught me off guard

Good video. I would love to visit petra. Is one day enough.
That’s where Transformers 2 was filmed way back 😍😍😍
Indiana jones too
@@foreveryoung999 Ohh that's nice too :D
Great but quick video. A special thank you for stating how much it will cost to visit Petra!
I didn't know it was in Indiana Jones,
I discovered it once through a BBC special and always wanted to go there and see up close. Wow, it's so fucked up and commercialized, I don't even want to see it now.
Thanks for giving me a heads up!!!
Wow beautiful cody❤😍😍
Night petea good view of jordan.
i am so grateful to God.....been there! really amazed me...those tall stones...😍
Hello Cody
👍👍👍 👌👌👌😍😍😍💙💙💙
The 18-minute documentary Ancient Mega Structures 1 Episode Petra (Turkish), prepared by Natural Geographic and published on CZcams, the very interesting Al Khazneh building is turned into a computer environment and its side view is given. (He talks about translating from translation in verse 18 of Surat al-Kahf.) The 45th minute of the same documentary is also very interesting, the sun is coming from the right to Al Khazneh. As it is said in the verse. Frankly, I think this building was built for Ashabi Kahf. - (Ashabi Kahf is known as the seven sleepers)
I love this video 🥰
amazing cody , i always wanted to see that after indiana jones3
Nice video. Does it get cold at Petra at night?
Nice video. In which month were you in Petra? Do you think a Nice idea to go during The summer??
What hotel did you stay at in petra
My name is Petra.
I sure hope they are putting alot of the profits they make into maintaining that incredible structure.
At 3:22, why isn't anyone able to go into that entrance to see inside? That is the most popular entrance of Petra that I see in photos and always curious what's inside.
BEAUTIFUL
At 5:49 he really said this building was built in the 2nd Century. Clearly, It's way older, and Its original builders were of Colossal height. Just look at the size of the doorway compared to the tiny size of the people standing in front of it.
Which season is the best and not too much warm to go to Petra ?
Sorry if I miss this, but can you pay with card, or only cash? We'll be visiting it next month. Thank you.
Just watched *Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger* and this location was used in the movie and I wanted to see exactly where it was.
3:55 Jauh jauh ke Petra, makan nya tetep, Pop Mie wkwk
The sampled electronic music destroys this video, totally out of context..I can't watch it with that crap banging away at volume every time he finishes speaking...
Hi, traveling to Jorden with my wife this September, and if you could give me some information about what is the best way to spend money, ATM, credit card, debit card, or cash, also where's the best place to exchange dollars into Jordanian Dinar.
Thank you for any information
"What they don't show you". Oh i thought you were taking us inside.
Glad those Indonesian noodles made it all the way to petra. Wonder when is my turn
4:31 how do you find a "I love Bali" table cloth in a souvenir stand in Petra? 😄
@ it’s the red cloth on top of the stand 👍🏻
I had my first camel ride in front of the facade.
petra always look stunning
Sooooo sweet
Whats story behi nd petra?
I think a video about jarash same way u made this video will be great Sites in jarash are a lot closer to each other’s so it should be easier
the day i almost died
I really hope you recorded this journey too
ya he recorded it and his hopital visit, cody you should pick bros over pics
Yes this is where Josh got sick!!!!
@@stevenmmeadeii Exactly. This guy is just gross.
We love you Josh rise above !
Nice video
Looks so nice at night. Michael have you thought about skates to get ahead of Cody. Could also use them for glidecam shots too. 🤣👍👍
