    I just bought a sewing machine on impulse. And bought this pattern. I never read a pattern before or sewed anything before so I was very confused and frustrated. I’m glad I found this video

    Yes!
    I'm learning how to sew and reading the S8519, these are the step by step instructions I needed.

      Very brave of you to tackle on a project like this! I used to try to make very difficult patterns when I was new to the sewing world and the struggle was real. Hence why I decided to try to make some videos to help those who are new!

    How did you cut the fabric

    • @Lunarctica96
      @Lunarctica96  Před 2 lety

      You know how on the pieces of the pattern have arrows on them? You have to have those arrows parallel to the selvage. The selvage are perpendicular to the line where the fabric was cut. If your fabric only goes one way, make sure you move the piece so that the arrow is still parallel to the selvage but going the right direction of the print (like if the pumpkins would only be one direction). I hope this is helpful! I might try to do another shorter pattern soon so I could show how I cut my pieces
