Refereeing was abysmal.Go the Titans,keep up the good work.The officiating is disgraceful.
Watched both games today with female refs and they are just not good refs! Stop this nonsense with equal rights! Get the best man for the job like the good old days! Also that guy in the bunker who said it was a strip at the end of the game just shows that you can have a bunker but the majority of the clowns who run it do not have a clue!!

Gender has nothing to do with it. Ashley Klein is the worst ref to take the field, and Chris Butler isn't all that far behind him.

It’s not sexist. I’m female and I totally agree. Although the worst call yesterday came from the bunker. No way was he trying to ‘make a play’ for that ball. He wrapped his arm around to make a tackle. The ball was loose. The game has become a joke: too many rules, not enough consistency when they’re enforced. Certain teams get away with things that others don’t. I’m almost going ti start learning the rules to AFL and give up on league altogether: so disappointing
It has got to the point where people who have watched rugby league for ages are not understanding the game any more.Its got too many silly rules and is over policed bigtime. The Muppets in the bunker are inadequate and the list goes on and on. I love rugby league but I'm shaking my head at the stupidity of some of the rules. A knock on without hitting the ground.... The NRL absolutely has to minimise the involvement of the bunker in the game. Refs need to be the primary decision makers. They shouldn't be allowed to request bunker intervention, and the bunker should ONLY intervene to correct absolute howlers. In every other case the bunker, like the crowd, has to accept the on field decisions of the ref. Like it or lump it and play on.

Yes it is. The NRL doesn’t want people turning off their TVs and advertisers getting less exposure, so they keep it close through nefarious means while also ensuring the right teams from across every state and region makes the 8. It’s WWF on grass.
