When I was stationed at NAS Cecil Field, it seemed like every squadron attached to the “Ike” was always deployed, getting ready to deploy or just getting back from deployment and it was not the Atlantic show boat that was the big Stick CVN 71. Some those guys racked up some serious sea time on that boat.
