This is such a powerful wanderlust video. When I was working in an unfulfilling corporate job, I would sometimes travel just to escape the grind and distract myself from it. It was when I quit that job when I began traveling with purpose. Thank you once again for amazing explores!!!!!!

So glad you found our dog beach! The coastal trails are rough for pup-moms. There are so many incredible dog-friendly hikes and trails in this area. If you come back, us locals would be happy to give you a giant list of awesomeness to check out.
but it doesn’t seem to have many places friendly to boondocking, can’t just randomly park and sleep the night, I tried a few times on Highway 1 over the years, very high chances got window knocking at mid-night, then had to move; many California places have local city ordinances forbidding over-night sleeping in car, none of Walmart in California is 24 hours open, and no one costal city allows over-night staying in car

FYI. The next time you are in the Monterey/Big Sur area, the City of Monterey has a little known campground within city limits. Very clean and quiet with hot showers. Also maybe a 1.5 mile walk to Canery Row and the Marine museum. It is called Monterey Veterans Memorial Park.

I'm from Ft. Bragg originally and boy do I wish I could move back! I was curious to see how much trouble she'd have finding places to stay overnight, as I'd love nothing more than do a CA coast road trip, but as you can see, it's kinda tricky. I have a dog as well and if you try to obey all the rules, you just can't take them anywhere you'd want to go. CA makes it so hard.

One of the things I enjoy about watching travel videos is seeing place where Iv been. Last month my son and I drove highway 1, heading north and we also stopped to see the seals. It really was a bummer coming across all of the not so dog friendly spots, because we had are dog and I love letting her paws touch the ground in all of the amazing places we go. I love your videos and your enthusiasm. Stay safe and enjoy the moment, because its all we really have.

What you shot of the butterflies and you describing it was great plenty.. Only thing I could see to make it any better is if you had your own TV show with a professional film crew. So I would call this. Beauty on a Budget :-)

So happy you got to drive through south highway 1. It’s such a beautiful scenic drive with so many stops worth taking lots of pictures. There are a lot of restaurants near Big Sur area with amazing views and also dog friendly. Hopefully soon, I’ll be able to make the whole drive down to Cambria.

Always glad to see a woman bold enough to go do things that”society” seemed to look at as for men only. You go girl! Just a little bit of advice from a retired veteran (who has seen the negative side of life also).As a very attractive woman you DO need to be very aware of your surroundings. You’re probably not a “gun” person but at least have some bear spray with you in and out of your car when hiking. Predators can be “bipedal” also , unfortunately. Not to be negative just a realist. Be safe on your adventures, we want to see more of you and camper! Oh ya, when you’re able to consider a different vehicle look at a used Subaru Outback. More room, still not too big, and all wheel drive. Very dependable even used. 👍Good luck 🍀

Honestly if you do upgrade I'd recommend a Toyota Rav4 hybrid. You still get a similar great mileage but it'll feel spacious enough that it's a considerable difference. You'll be pleasantly surprised especially if customized properly. Anyways, great videos! If you feel like you're living the dream imagine what Camper must feel. Beats an owner staying at home all day. So many sights and scents for Camper across America! It's both a dog and dog owners dream. Wish yall the best!
PCH is the most scenic road in America. I/we have driven it many times when I/we lived in San Diego for three years. Back then, camping for the night, was possible many places along the route.
