I remember it like yesterday, in my early 20's. Long lines, stations running out of gas, fights on those lines. It was horrible.
interesting. heard of the early 70s gas problems but didn't know about one at the close of the decade.
The second one was due to the Iranian revolution.

WELL HOW NICE AND GREEDY HE GOT TO REST AND MAKE MORE MONEY WHILE OTHERS WERE LAID OFF FROM THE STATION CUSTOMERS COULDN’T GET GAS TO GET TO WORK
I'm 68 I don't remember any gas shortages
Might want to see a doctor and get your memory checked out, there’ve been a few in those 68 years there 😂
