Shadow of Israphel got me hooked on the Yogscast. I haven't watched them in a few years by this point, but they were still a large part of my (Admittedly Minecraft obsessed) childhood and adolescence.
I've been watching yogscast for about 6 years also. To see this crossover is blowing my mind
I can't believe you also love the Yogscast!! It's so weird when you think these two channels are so unrelated but actually the have a colab 😂 I love your channel too!!
It's always so cool to hear these kinds of stories of how someone got to meet their heroes or someone who influenced them greatly and have it be everything they had hoped it would be. I've watched the Yogscast for 5 or 6 years now and would love to get a chance to meet them but I probably never will. Unless some day I can magically afford to drop everything and go to England.

This is the first video i have ever seen of you, but i am happy for you mate. The yogscast arent the biggest youtubers. Times have changed and so has youtube, but the yogscast family is still my #1 and still my #1 place to go to every night, even after 8 years. True youtube heroes!
I used to watch them all the time. Their Survival Island and Shadow of Israphel shows were my favourites.

My first Yogscast video was Shadow Of Israphel episode 20. Was my first introduction to minecraft. Didn’t have a clue the game existed or what it was. I never watched content like it before either. I’d watched game walkthroughs before but not really anything multiplayer. So it was only ever one commentator playing alone. Didn’t know much about PC gaming either. No beyond disc you put into the disc tray. I was 11 then. Change my entire world. I then binged watched all their minecraft content. I became obsessed with the game. Though I didn’t end up getting the game until another 9 months later on a PC that could hardly play it.
Honestly the experienced didn’t just change my world and really changed my life. Made friends I would have never had met. Had experiences that brought me to travel to England. Non of it would have happened it hadn’t watched the yogscast. Sure I might of still discovered minecraft but the friends I made I would have never met without a random comment about a server I saw in one of their videos one day. Whole thing surreal looking back on it.

Yes! I started watching in 2010, being 18 years of age it’s been the better part of my life growing up with those people. It’s interesting to think how I can know them so well with they’re little memories, stories and life events yet they wouldn’t know my name!
I've been watching them since the very first episode of surviving the night, all those years ago! I've stayed with them for their personalities over everything else. They're all just such entertaining blokes.
I started watching The Yogscast when they uploaded the first Jaffa Factory video , never stopped since and now it’s actually the first thing I do when I wake up, it would be an absolute dream to go to Britain and see them. Kind of jealous lol but I felt really happy watching this video since I know I’ll never get the chance to do this but at least you showed us and gave us a peak of our dream and what it would look like. I used to watch these guys, Tekkit with Duncan, sips co, the Jaffa Factory. And I even used to watch a little of hat films I remember my parents telling me off because they swore ahhaah. Glad you got in to my recommended.
That plane video was so good, ugh, I'm gonna go and rewatch all their other old videos now, I'm actually currently rewatching Jaffa Factory. 😂

Those shots when you first went into the office were really shakey but to be totally honest if it was me in there I dont thing I could operate a camera due to he overwhelming feeling of being there.

It's bizarre because I have been watching since 2011 as well and it's just amazing how the crew and company has grown and changed. I miss a lot of them who are no longer as active or apart of the company.

Always wished I could meet the Yogscast... I grew up with them...
I was there September 2017 (because I recognized the park from Turps Larp fight episode) and met Sjin, Tom, Ben, Harry and Duncan. They were all nice and normal people. Wasn´t invited in, but it still was the highlight of my trip from Germany to England (one of the highlights actually, I met 2/3 of Hat Films and Mark Hulmes earlier at Empire lrp^^)

I would like to note Simon looks like he’s about to explode. And I would have literally died before I walked into the building. Don’t care if some people thing they aren’t that popular anymore or that they’ve changed too much. They are still my childhood heroes and I still watch them daily.
