Great video. #hu24 we up next🤘🏿
Howard has been my dream school since I was in the 6th grade. I am currently in the 11th grade and I would love for you to proof read my essay
As a Howard alumna, c/o 1980, I admire your thoroughness, attention to detail and application execution. HR professionals like myself are waiting for you to enter the job market. Best wishes.
I can see you being a good fit at Spelman, Hampton, NC A&T, Prairie View A&M, Texas Southern and FAMU. I know for a fact at Texas Southern and Prairie View you can get a full scholarship with your credentials and both have beautiful campuses .... most of the popular private HBCUs don't give full scholarships unless you way beyond average.
Congrats ! 🥳 I’m hoping to be HU23 in the spring 🙏🏽
Thanks ! I hope you get in !
MainlyMarissa Thanks so much !
I've been looking for someone who got accepted to Howard that's from Alabama in our class. I feel so relieved that I'm not gonna be the only one lol. But congrats!! #HU23
David Wilkerson yess I was a little concerned about being the only one from Alabama too lol
Trust me there are more from Bama headed to Howard
Congrats 👌🏾 #HU22 here.
Thank you
im curious , what was your overall highschool GPA ?
I’m from the south also...do you think it’s a major change going from Alabama to the north....I’m really considering Howard but the transition is a big factor holding me back...any advice?
hey, I have a 3.1 unweighted/ 4.2 weighted, I’m in 2 clubs, have 2 leadership positions, had a job, and have a lot of community service, do you think I have a chance?
what’s was ur gpa?
candiss 3.7
How much money did Howard give you?
Have you decided what school you are attending?
Yes, I will be attending Howard University this fall
Congratulations! God Bless You! Im planning on going to FAMU university!
Thank you ! Congrats to you as well
does Howard go by weighted or unweighted gpa?
I’m not sure
Girl so I’m bout to tell you a lot lol but I’m going to be a junior in August and my schedule will be
Algebra II
Theatre II
Choir II
Spanish III Honors
Biology Honors
English III Honors and
AP US History
Im going to renter Mu Alpha Theta
Key Club and Poetry club and BETA club
I have a 3.8 gpa (goal is 4.9)
I’m just wondering if that’s too much or idk lol just need some advice
That seems fine but I know of people who had less and got in as well as people who had more and didn’t make it so it really is case by case you can never really guarantee anything
Omg thanks for the reply and advice sis ily ❤️❤️
No problem!
#HU25 ❤️
You skipped a grade - graduated early ?
No, instead of taking four core classes and an four electives this year I only took the four core classes. And those classes were the only ones I needed to fulfill my graduation requirements so I could finish a semester early :)
Did you take foreign language for a 2nd year
I took a foreign language for 3 years
