    Yeah good review but I would have to say I've had ultra boost and now quantum 360 -6 and I reckon the asics are gonna last a heck of allot longer. The ultra boost seem to get soggy after a short time !

    • @nicolelisa
      @nicolelisa  Před 2 lety +2

      I do agree with that! My husband does go through ultra boosts a lot quicker than his asics, however i will still be buying ultra boosts

  • @bendover4356
    @bendover4356 Před 2 lety +4

    360 6 are a bit tight and have a more solid build, if you get 360 5 they are a bit more like the ultra boosts where the material wraps a bit around your foot and the shoe is still stable but a bit looser at the same time

      Ohhh thank you! That makes sense now as to why my husband loves his but I don’t really like my pair at all

    Next time you have a chance, try ASICS Gel-Nimbus. They are divine. I have lots of shoes. Ultraboosts are nice, but Nimbus is something unreal. I dont have gel quantum 360, so can't compare, but I've heard that Nimbus is Asics' most comfortable shoes.

      Thank you so much! I think I actually saw some of the nimbus shoes in store recently and they looked good! But I haven’t tried them on yet

      @@nicolelisa You are welcome. I've been on somewhat of a journey to find the most comfortable shoes. Have gone through all major brands available in Australia. Now it's boiled down to choice between ASICS Gel-Nimbus and Nike Invincible Run. Just got the latter ones today and first impressions is that while they do feel like you walk on marshmallows or a pillow (that's how some reviewers described them - they have a thick sole of very soft material), they don't feel as comfortable to my feet as the Nimbus, which have little bumps and indentations inside to accommodate every nuance of my feet, they even have little space for your toes in the toe-box. ASICS Gel-Nimbus hug my feet, can't describe it better. You really need to try them to understand. I guess people have different feet and different ways of judging comfort, so it's very personal. I've also heard good things about NB FuelCell Rebel v2, but they are gone everywhere atm, apart from weird sizes.
      Among Adidas shoes I like ZX 2K Boost, Solar Glide 5, Pureboost Jet. They all have boost tech in their soles. All very soft and comfortable. Thing about Adidas is that they flood the market with shoes and because of oversupply regularly sell at half price or even less. I got all my Adidas heavily discounted. Nike, NB, Hoka and Asics don't discount their shoes much. Occasionally you can get good deals from resellers.
      Ordered a pair of ASICS Gel-Quantum 360 6 last night for $120, should arrive on Friday. Will let you know what I think of them.
      Cheers

      @LIZ STEFANNY CUMBE MENDEZ Hi. I bought a pair of ASICS Gel-Quantum 360 6 in August and they were pretty bad, nothing like Nimbus. Stiff upper, hard sole and very strange long but narrow fit. Wanted to like them, but returned eventually. They feel like much cheaper shoes.
      If you want comfortable and soft shoes for casual ware (running would require different models), I would suggest trying these:
      - ASICS Numbus 24
      - NB 1080 v12 or 880 v12 (make sure they are v12 and don't confuse with NB 860 - these are harder stability shoes)
      - Nike Invincible Run - these are the softest shoes on the market, but some ppl don't like them because they can be a bit unstable. I would suggest trying them for reference at least.
      - Adidas Ultraboost or Web Boost - Web Boost are a bit softer but more expensive.
      I'd suggest going to a premium Rebel store (premium stores stock larger variety of shoes) and try these and see which ones you like best.

      Each to their own. After 20 years of Nimbus I'm a Quantum 360 convert.

    I've tried ultraboost twice in the store. Recently the new v1.0 and older v4.0 (Weird naming convention). I didnt really like the initial tightness of putting on the Ultraboosts. But can understand the tight ankle fit. Ny left foot is 10.5 so it felt different on my ankle on the Ultraboosts.
    I have used ASICS gel superion 5 for nearly a year, A$250 and they blee away ny $79 decathlon ones. ASICs are more airy but they do get hot even at home, I can't really say about the Ultraboosts since I habent personally used them but being a tighter grip seems they would have less cooling. I tried the 360s and found more flexible space as well as a lot more colours to choose from. Very comfortable as well. Was basically looking dor a secind pair.. preferably white but whire gets dirty fast. Footlocker has some deals right now.

    Ultra boost is not too much cushioned , but it’s very comfortable to foot and traction I feel perfect and very less traction on walk in comparison to ultra boost.

    I have Asics GEL-QUANTUM 180 and Asics Gel-1130. The mold is narrower with GEL-QUANTUM 180 and it tightens the front part of my foot. Both sneakers are the same size!?? I will have to change them.

    How is the sizing of Asics? Are they generally larger than Adidas for the same UK size?

    • @MrNebojanele
      @MrNebojanele Před 2 měsíci +1

      Asics UK 10 = 28.5 cm Adidas = UK 11 = 28.4 cm

    • @nicolelisa
      @nicolelisa  Před 2 lety

      I did yes, the more I’ve worn the ASICS they are stretched a bit and I re laced them which actually helped a lot!
      The length was not my issue with them, it was more the width.
