    Nike Invincible Run 3 Description
    With maximum cushioning to support every mile, the Invincible 3 gives you our highest level of comfort underfoot to help you stay on your feet today, tomorrow and beyond. Designed to help keep you on the run, it’s super springy and bouncy, so that you can propel down your preferred path and come back for your next run feeling ready and reinvigorated.
    Support: High
    The more supportive the shoe, the more stability it can give to your natural stride. A combination of tuned support and intentionally placed cushioning helps you feel secure with every step. The Invincible 3 has high support technology, with cushion and stability intentionally placed and shaped to protect your foot from the effects of pronation.
    Cushioning: Super High
    The more cushioning that you have underfoot, the softer and more comfortable your running experience can be. Cushioning helps soften impact as your feet hit the ground. With Nike ZoomX cushioning shaped like a rocker and higher foam heights, this shoe gives you ultimate cushioning at ground contact and an even softer underfoot feel.
    Responsiveness: Super High
    The more responsive the shoe, the more energy return you can get back with each step. Whether you want to run a little bit faster or with a little less effort, responsive shoes help give you slightly more spring in your step to get more out of your run. Nike ZoomX foam is ultra responsive and lightweight, giving you bounce and a snappy response with every step.
    Fit: Secure, Breathable, Comfortable
    An evolved Flyknit upper places zones of breathability where your foot heats up most. It's strong and durable, helping keep your foot secure with every mile.
    What's New About the Invincible 3?
    We made the heel clip smaller than our previous iteration and placed it in a more precise location. A wider midsole adds stability. Taller foam stacks than our previous version raise the bar on cushioning and comfort, in a more sleek-looking design.

    02:05 you want a stiffer spring when running. That's why carbon plate runners are not flexible at all when you try to bend them with your hands. The weight of your body produces much more force than you can with your hands so it needs to be stiff to propel you forward.

    • @Silverspy97
      @Silverspy97 Před rokem +7

      Agreed, the demo is actually terrible considering that nobody weighs 1 pound for that level of weak spring to do anything meaningful.

    I really appreciate the walking comparison. I have a fake knee and have been considering these 2 or the Endorphin Speed 2's. The Invicible run's just don't appear to have a good heal to toe transition from your walking they do appear very unstable and wobbly as you stated. These are a no go for me. Thank you!

    Invincibles are the comfiest shoes I’ve ever owned. I’ve had several Ultraboosts and they don’t come close. Agree on the comments about slippage though.

  • @NutnFancy21
    @NutnFancy21 Před rokem +30

    The heel slippage and stiff upper on the invincible is what's holding it back for me from being a 10/10 daily. I agree however it can feel unstable or wobbly due to the cushion height, but I can see it benefiting in the long run once broken into. ZoomX is the softest most comfortable cushion but at the cost of durability. They bottom out quick. With the extra stack height on these, the foam should break in nicely and last a bit longer.

      I dont own any sneakers with zoomX but i had 5 6 pairs of ultra boosts, some for running and others just for casual use. I couldnt believe how fast they bottom out. 1 2 months and the comfort is gone. Thats why im considering trying these invincibles.

    I already had to return a pair of invincibles since I got a hole in the toe area after 1 month. Got another pair but they aren't as great as the 1 or 2. As a wide footer, I haven't been able to fit into an UB since the 20s. (size 13)
    If you're a wide footer, you're better off buying Invinscible 2s at half off then paying 180 for a new pair of 3s unless you have the Nike hook up (40% off)

    Never owned the Adidas but due to heel surgery, I have been in the Invincible 2 and 3 for over 3 years now. The 3 was an upgrade in a few ways for me, Deeper, better lateral stability and softness feel in the heel. The 3 upper material was a miss for me though just like he said. I would love to see that heel softness combined with lateral stability next (if that is possible for us high arched folks) . Perhaps I will give the Adidas a try as well. Thanks for the review (it's 1 year old now lol)

    Have them both, and this is my thoughts.
    The Ultraboost OG is much more functional than these 2. The light boost is way more stable than Invincible run. the Invincible run is crazy soft compare to light boost. But this is the shoe that I don't recommend running downhill. Invincible run is not stable AT ALL. It felt like I can roll my ankle for standing for more than 10 seconds. That chances of you getting injured is higher with Invincible run. The Light boost is more like a performance shoe. I don't recommend it for casual or lifestyle shoe. It felt like stepping on the concrete compare to the Invincible Run. Both are great shoes. But I will pick the Invincible run all day. It's crazy soft and it'll definitely take you further when you run. But Men, Nike has to do something with the stability of this shoe. This is the 3rd version but the stability still sucks.

    • @alfaralph7710
      @alfaralph7710 Před 11 měsíci

      @@jeffreyhall8195 Definitely not the shoe for Osteoarthritis. The Invincibles give me exactly the symptoms of Osteoarthritis(joint pain). I would only recommend it for someone who needs running shoes with arch support and is a midfoot striker or heel striker. If you really want a max-cushioning shoe, I would recommend you to first find the right drop for your foot issues(I wear zero drop on firm sole shoes but I prefer 6 to 8 mm drop on max cushion shoes. 10 mm drop on any shoe gives me backpain and zero drop on max cushion shoe gives me ankle issues).
      After finding the right drop, come back and watch Hes Kicks videos to find the most comfortable shoes then check the drop on those shoes and never choose a shoe that Hes Kicks rate the stability lower than 8(he's too generous with stability and you'll need to reduce his stability rating by -3 to find the real stability of many of those max cushion shoes). Goodluck!

    Went for a run in the invincible run 3’s and they are really just for running that’s when they feel more stable. And they are really good for preventing plantar fascia strain in my flat feet. Running down a medium slop was an absolute blast for me and I enjoyed heel striking in them 😊. What I would say though is when lacing up, you only want slight tension around your foot and not too snug because there is not much flexibility in the upper

    Maybe a minor point, but I find that the UB 22's & UBL's Continental outsole rubber is much quieter when walking vs. the IR 3, at least on my tile floor. As someone who's a bit sensitive to rubber noises (misophonia), I appreciate the near silence of the UB models and cringe a bit when walking with the IR 3. That being said, Adidas' 4DFWD 2 Continental outsole is easily the most silent I've ever had... impressively stealthy.

    I'm overweight, muscular. 245 lb. invincible run 3 are amazing, however those will not work for a regular run if you have a similar or higher weight, those are so unstable for my weight that I can't even do warming without rolling my ankles. However I do HIIT and sprints at top speed and that marshmellow feeling and protection to my bones has no comparison so I will use them for those sprints at all speed, only for runs in a straight line and in a very flat floor. Honestly I love them, I have never feel that bounce and cushion in my life. Now the UB23 seems like the best option for overweight users, as it feels more stable and for a regular run like 10k up to a marathon those will be perfect.

    I tried each time new Ultraboost came out and just not as good to me, same with nike I keep trying dif types of foam, found the pegasus trail gore-tex models being good option till the new trail 4 came out its too tall foam wise just like others. And lack of all black as an option.
    The old ultraboost was lower profile and found that it never flattened out like the 21 and 22 seem to flatten out like other large foams.
    Lastly adidas has no locations to buy the gore-tex ultraboost only can order online and ship them, the 22 don't fit like the reg 22 do making it a pain to deal with. Nike pegasus trail gore-tex can get at dick's, most locations have them in stock and nike online has limited sizes left but to me the reg non gore tex pegasus trail fit just the same only thing I found was right foot heal would roll in on a few pairs I tried on but not all them.

    Invincibles are my pick. The ultraboosts seem to have really thin forefoots, the same problem I had with the Pegasus. I don’t need springy gimmicks for a daily trainer or easy run shoe.

    The ultraboost light is much firmer and a lot less cushy and comfy compared to older ultraboost sneakers i had. I'd give them a 6/10 rating. The NB 1080v13 and asics nimbus 26 are both much softer and comfy imo.

  • @AGC828

    Worthwhile comparison.
    Max cushion shoes IMHO (I'm a "casual runner"....more a sprinter/lifestyle/walker guy). So the Invincible...if I were vaguely into running would be for as runners put it ....for "recovery days". Not the kind of shoe you want to wear daily for trips to the gym, dog walks, gocery getting....not an "all rounder"....you said the Ultra Light had some stability to it....buyt a little too expensive for MY needs at almost $280 CAD...heh..."more affordable" alterntives Asics Nimbus 29 or 30, Saucony Tempus, NB 880 or 1080....Puma Velocity Nitro 2....best deal..for a "do everything shoe/daily trainer"...
