    Appreciate the depth of testing. Nice tip on skipping the eyelet near the top and going straight to the top for a better fit. I have got over 60 miles in my mine and I do somewhat land on my heel when I run, so I find them very comfortable. For durability, based on the increase of ZoomX foam, I don’t have any concerns with it bottoming out and am going to see if they last over 300 miles.

    Thank you for this review! I am looking at getting of these hoping that these would be more durable than the older version (I had the ZoomX Invincible Run FK and its upper tore from the midsole after 72 runs (391 km). My other pair, the React Infinity Run FK 2, has 485 km on it but is still in perfect running condition so I might stick with that for a while.

      That's where a local specialized running shoe store would be beneficial, if you have one nearby. I have 15 years experience in this business & it can be confusing for sure. Everyone has an opinion on what may be best (for them) however everyone's foot structure, activities, aches/pains, arches & running gait are different.

      To answer your question, if you have a Nats, they might have a shoe machine where it tests what kind of foot you have. It recommends a genre of shoe for you to try. This does not specify to Nats, but it’s a new technology so it might be hard to come by in stores. An example of a great beginner shoe to just get some mileage in would be the invincible 3s, famous for its comfort. It also won’t feel uncomfortable once you up mileage on long runs to 10 miles or so. But this may not be applicable and have the same feeling for you because everyone has different foot types. If you’re a high level athletes or competitive athlete with quick times, personally I love the zoomfly 5s. A little pricy at retail being $170 but gets the job done and feels great for tempos I have gotten about 300-450 miles on these shoes in 5 months and then finally the soles of them started to come off. They were still very responsive even by the time they came off! Compared to other Nike shoes, it is a great option. The super shoes such as the tempo next% or vaporflys are NOT daily trainers and are racing shoes which means they are not durable to sustain you for a long time. Saucony Ride 17s are also a pretty good option for me in my opinion.

    • @calvarez08
      @calvarez08 Před 7 dny

      Sorry if this is a lot of read. Basically invincible run 3s for beginners as they are very comfortable and the comfort will last even after 10+ miles. Zoomflies are an option for more experienced runners as they are comforting and responsive in both tempos and easy runs until the very end. There are many different types of shoes, but Nats has a technology which can reccomend shoes for you

      Not many in tennis because of the motion necessary - some hoop shoes like the Lucas have it as well as a lot of take down models trying to make up for no shank- it’s a better concept for running IMO vrs the more violent side to side “z axis” of hoops and tennis

    • @swapnenduscreations
      @swapnenduscreations Před rokem +3

      @@Christian-yo4jq That's okay! Maybe your running poster is already correct. But This shoe don't have any shank that's why if a runner lands his heel first while running then his/her heel could be twisted. You are a professional runner so you don't make any mistakes while running that's why you didn't face any problem in this shoe.

    • @swapnenduscreations
      @swapnenduscreations Před rokem +2

      The vaporfly & Alpha fly has a carbon shank , so it can support your feet even if your feet are landing at the wrong angle. So you can say that invincible run is made for comfort running only , not for stable running. That's it. 😁

    Running , especially pro or competitive timed running like in the military require you to be lean with constant training . There are various sports and various positions in team sports for different body types , just like different racquets and string patterns for those best morphologicaly adapted to those various playing styles . Any long term running focus would best fit a long stride low weight / impact , strong legged runner . Sprinters have a more well rounded body . So pro level , high cost shoes are only targeted , like there design components only in truth to a limited runner type . The rest should be used for the general joggers . This is based on impact weight dispersal as well as foot deflection . So professional competition shoes and opinions on them should not be based on how they work for you , but only for the manufacturers Intended market . You were , I believe thinking of bringing in people of various morphology types to test these products properly and I would agree , unless you are able to separate yourself from the products tested . You may be able to save yourself from further injuries as well . Just like a poor form will create inuries , the wrong body type for the sport and or product , will not get the most out of the product or the sports intended performance parameters . You have done all you could and now it is time to rest and expand . It is painful to see these perfectly good shoes to be destroyed for analysis , all the time .
