Thanks for explaining about the numbers and the wheel weights. I put a set of Lightweights off my climbing bike on my Propel for the day while I was having my LBS change tires for me. I noticed in switching back that the climbing wheel set, despite being only 5mm shallower, was noticeably lighter (same cassette). I guess I can make my Propel into a -1 with an ultralight wheel set when I want.

What is the difference between the propel and the tcr, I realize that one is an aero bike and the other is a climbing bike but in terms of geometry and responsiveness?

I have a 2016 Propel as well, it's lighter than the new models and just as stiff and aero.. The only thing the new ones have on the 2016 model is integration up front hiding the cables and staggered wheels.....But I like the new one as well.....Ride On !!

One question: What is the maximum tire wide on this bike? Cause I want Aero but also Gravel and so far there is only one option the EXPLORO RACE FORCE AXS 2X.

The only differences is the groupset. Pro 2 use 11 speed shimano 105 while pro 3 use 10 speed tiagra

I just ordered a 2021 Propel ad 1 yesterday, but I see that the configuration of the pro feels that the propel ad 1 is not worth it, but I don’t have that much money to buy a pro. So I want to know, is there a big difference between their frame and wheel set ？
To slam the stem on these do you have to cut the steering tube?
Hi mate, thanks for putting this together, it must have taken some time. Giant offers an Advanced 2 in the UK which the cheapest Propel- perhaps best to get you facts correct if you want to grow this channel- can only imagine how much time this takes. Keep up the good work!

@@DaleRC75 a long shot but I'm after a propel in the UK and am struggling to find any good prices/discounts or even anywhere in stock. Is this just due to current covid demand for bikes?
