  • Growing up, Seth struggled with self-image and intense guilt. He thought he was ugly and unlovable in God’s eyes. But an encounter with God’s love at a church service finally caused Seth to see that, in Messiah, he is a new creation!

John 12:47 I came not to judge the world but to save the world. This is why there was a creation in Genesis. God wants a relationship with YOU.

These very feelings that he suffered I have suffered... it's very hard... but the most I pray and read the Bible I realise that those are the lies that the devil whispers in your ears... because if you read the Bible.... you'll realise that he loves us... so much... that his love is ever ending and that is inspite of the fact that we are sinners, repented ones but yet fallen sinners... that just wants to follow his way and want to deny ourselves, take our cross and follow him till the very end.

So beautiful. I had no idea the Jews don’t even know that Jesus was a Jew.. Since my conversation from atheist to eventually catholic I feel so honored to spiritually belonging to this tribe or family of the huge figures from the old testament.
A footnote on the term ugly: Just recently I realized that in my german language the word ugly stems from the word for hatred. So feeling ugly is closely related to beeing or feeling hated.

New testament is the old testament and vice-versa they run clear into each other constantly in text,

I am writing to you so Jesus Christ can bless you with the Truth and the Truth shall set you free!
God Almighty made a testament/will in the OT with us that we should inherit His kingdom. So for this testament/will to be activated the testator has to die. Hebrews 9.16.
That is why God Almighty had to die on the cross (He didnt cease to exist just like we do not cease to exist when we die) but He died in the flesh so that He could spill HIS holy blood Acts 20.28 so that whoever believes in this gift of LOVE (self sacrifice John 15.13) should receive His Holy Spirit and be sealed for the kingdom (receive the inheritance)
You must believe in the LOVE (self sacrifice/death) of God in the flesh because it was the love of God that fulfilled the law (Romans 13)
So if you believe in the love (self sacrifice/death) of God in the flesh, the death of the testator, you will be born again and receive His Holy Spirit and will be no longer under the law.
Trinity and unitarianism will lead you to hell because both doctrines demand a faith, in which a separate father sends his separate son to the cross. Whoever believes in this, whoever puts their faith in this sacrifice of an other, does not believe in the selfless self sacrifice of God who came as a servant, and will therefore not receive the Spirit of God but the spirit of the selfish (satanic) anti (in stead of) Christ.
God is SPIRIT and when He came to earth, He was still in heaven at the same time John 3.13, That is how He Himself was able to go to the cross and spill His holy bloody and therefore activate the testament/will.
This is the gospel of peace which is based on the love of God. All I have told you is biblical.

The problem is that the Jews who accepted Jesus seem to have calved off from those who didn't early on*, and often lost their identity... But the fact that most of the earliest Christians had Jewish backgrounds is not a secret. I think this was worsened by some churches openly attacking what they called Hebraisers.
The other obvious problem, IMO, is that certain streams of Judaism came to dominate and others didn't. Current Judaism is almost always Talmudic, and legalistic, whereas in Jesus' day, there were actually a number of very different Judaisms.
    * Although there is evidence that some Christians still attended synagogues into the third and fourth centuries.

@@ibelongtojesusmysaviour9171 Actually he kind of did. When the Pharisees asked him, “Are you saying you are the Son of God?”, Jesus answered “that is what you are saying….”. Then they repeatedly asked him again. Then Jesus said…..”Verily verily I say unto you, Before Abraham, I AM.” The Pharisees were enraged. Ask yourself why? Why do you think the Pharisees were enraged at his answer? 🤔. In the Torah/Tanach (Old Testament), who was the one who called himself the I AM? Who? 😏

    • @davideskerlot2945

@@ibelongtojesusmysaviour9171 Now the beginning of the New Testament, the book of John states “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word is God”. Then the Bible proceeds to say the word came down to earth, but the earth did not recognize him.
Now in the book of Genesis, the Universe and the Earth, and the heavens were all created by the Word. God’s word. When people ask “who created the Universe?” What is the typical answer from religious people? God. Right?
Now if Jesus says, “I am the Truth, the Way, and the Life”, do you think Jesus lied when he told the Pharisees “Before Abraham, I AM”? Or was Jesus telling the truth? (This is not a trick question).
And why would the book of John specifically state “In the beginning, the Word was with God, and IS God”? Do you remember this?
The word is WITH God, and IS God. Now….doesn’t it make more sense why Jesus himself told the Pharisees, “Before Abraham, I AM.” 🤔. What do you think of this?
