@@aiox82 We dont explicitly see the crystal like what happened with Matthews gauntlets. However when A says Rex and Shulk are breaking some rules Rex says that "THEY" wouldnt hesitate. The camera then pans to N's blade sheath and then to Matthews right gauntlet. (The one that had Pneuma's core crystal) The logical inference is that like the dynamic they had in 2 (Pneuma being a power to protect or positive and Logos being the power to destroy or negative) N was in possession of logos for basically the whole time due to his desire to destroy Z and mobious.

The Lucky Seven (Noah and N's swords) are made of Origin Metal which is Ontos power. N's sheathe was made with Logos core crystal most likely, Matthew's gloves with Pneuma's. The Glove's eventually got passed to Noah as a Sword (somehow) which he used to sheathe the Lucky Seven Riku gave him. Once N and Noah fused/united the entire Trinity Processor's powers were with Noah explaining how he destroyed Z and Moebius. N failed because he only had Logos power. To summarize using knowledge from Xenogears and Saga as well basically N was an imperfect contact with the Conduit (Cause he only had Logos) same with Matthew (Only Pneuma). Noah became a perfect contact (Because he wound up with all 3 of the trinity processor's who were the ones who made contact with the conduit) thus he was able to use it's power.
Rex is like "Here's to old Klaus, he just keeps on giving!" oh my god even he is done with Klaus's bullshit. Yes it's insane how many problems this one scientist caused even after he died in both fucking timelines!!!!
So that's reason why Noah and N need to return their lucky sevens back to the sheath before unleashing some attack. They need to get power supply from core of Pneuma / Malos. Before DLC. I thougt they need some preparation to focus by doing some stance, i not suspecting the sheath is actually the main source 😅
I just noticed N's sheathe has the same Powers as Malos too. Remember in the battle outside Agnus prision? N used his sheath to block all the attacs from oroboros and whenever oroboros hitt the sheath they disintograte. It is the same power that Malos has. He culd disintigrate enything he tutched.

Matthew is probably the strongest Ouroboros because he can interlink with five people including Shulk (previously a god) and Rex (Master Drive who can drive all blades) and Na'el, Glimmer, Nikol Man's too powerful
so long as they bring back the original actors and just give them better direction I'd be fine with that, otherwise don't bother cos I love Rex's accent too much also a lot of the dialogue is perfectly fine, it's just at key moments it isn't so good (JOOOIN MEEEE and other shouts not being particularly good lol)
You know, as much as Xenoblade Chronicles 2 does wrong in my opinion (honestly, it's my least favorite of the three, if you haven't noticed yet), from 5:20 and onwards, the very badly synced mouth movement of Rex and his rather weak delivery of his lines there, but apart from that, what it does AMAZINGLY right here is the score going so damn stellar that as soon as Pyra's & Mythra's speech starts and the music rises and rises and rises in beauty and glory and triumphantness.......THAT always manages to bring a tear to my eye, no matter how often I've already seen this scene. So, the programming here might be something to shrug off, but oh my god, the music and the directing of the scenes here, with the music reaching its absolute peak just right in the moment where Aion is shown for the very first time and Pyra & Mythra stating that this is their true, whole being.......DAMN, THAT is some fantastic directing of the scene / camera angles going along in perfect sync with the masterfully crafted composition! "The Tomorrow With You" on it's own already is such a powerful piece of music, but here.....DAMN, amped up by 1000 through this scene!
Xenoblade Chronicle 2's voice direction... theres honestly never been a greater travesty. Doesn't help just how over the top the expressions and animations are, and how they weren't changed on a per-dub basis.
@@asprinjuice8877 They really aren't, I agree. The voices are relatively natural, but the animation basically ruins the feel of it. XC3 toned down the facial and body animations, making it far easier for the lip movements to match.
It is such a shame too morag, zeeke, nia, tora and their blades did such a good Job too. Rex is allright when he just talks, but when shitt goes crazy and over the top, his voice actor falls flatt and that is such a shame. The guy who voiced rex shuld have been given much better voice direction ider that or his voicedirector shuld have been replaced. Ider that or sadly, mabe they shuld just have hired another actor fore rex

2s english dub has always been pretty spotty. even bad in some cases ie pyra, mythra, and rex sometimes sounding like they aren't even aware of what kind of character they're playing. 3 has an amazing ENG main cast though. that scene where noah tells N he's full of shit is always gonna be awesome imo.
Xenoblade 3 is just: we interrupt your cool moment of the MC getting a cool sword with N getting his ass kicked by his Past Self and told to stop being an emo boy
Man... Animators lost oportunity 3 years ago about animating the xenoblade series... it would expand more the merchandizing than now... "Tales of..." got anime in many oportunities. Some titles of Final fantasy too. This franchise is rich, they lost the moment, would be a great game-based anime. Xenoblade chronicles became a "thing", right? or we arent bigger fandom group?

God Rex's voice actor wasn't able to see the expresions and mouth movements he had to copy for his performace didn't he? 🙁 I couldn't play Xenoblade 2 in english because of him, the dub director did him dirty and even if its sad for him im glad that he got a new voice actor for Xenoblade 3.
Though I really would have liked to hear an older Al Weaver voicing Rex again, would have been interesting. Don't know if he still even does video game voice acting though.
The voice direction for 2 was apparently quite lacking, I think Skye Bennet was the one who mentioned it? I wouldn't be surprised at all if he either didn't get to see it, or only had a take or two to match it.

Going with his colorscheme in XC2 and that of his Monado I'd say it's N's sword, same color scheme, same purple glow.
Malos is in N'sword and sheath, Pneuma is in the fists, and Alpha is right there
