Archival footage shot by an amateur filmmaker while visiting Egypt, probably in 1962.
It contains stock footage of Cairo: the Mosque of El-Fakahani, people walking in the narrow downtown streets, Qasr al-Nil Bridge and the Nile River, the Cairo Tower, panorama of the city from the Cairo Tower terrace, aerial views of street scenes of pedestrians and vintage cars, a peddler trying to sell goods to the passengers of a tourist bus, the entrance of the Egyptian Museum, visitors watching archaeological finds inside the Egyptian Museum, and more.
