It was DeSantis' idea to send illegal aliens to sanctuary cities farther north, even before Texas governor Abbott, which is now changing blue cities like Chicago red. DeSantis was also the only veteran in the race, having served in Iraq, and was awarded numerous medals. I can't stand Nikki Haley, and haven't liked her for many years, but I disagree about her being a "warmonger". That term gets thrown around way too much, and is becoming about as meaningless as calling someone a racist.
