Evaluating Soybean Stand After Freeze

Pioneer Field Agronomist Carl Joern is revisiting a soybean field that experienced a freeze event shortly after planting. After a freeze or frost event, it is important to get in the field a few days later to check crop emergence and get an early idea of whether yield may be impacted. Cold weather can delay or hinder soybean growth and become a breeding ground for pests and diseases throughout the growing season.
