Protecting Against White Mold in Soybeans

Is white mold in soybeans a concern this year? If the field has a history of white mold, it is a concern every year. A soil-borne fungal disease that can be difficult to get rid of completely. Wet conditions, cool temperatures and full crop canopy can all lead to white mold outbreaks. Studies have shown that the best defense against white mold is two fungicide applications.
