Underseat Ported Box Build For Focal Flax 8"

Quick build at work (2 hours from start too installed )for a Focal Flax 8", this going under the front bench seat of a Renault Van - 20L enclosure tuned to 35hz port is 3x3"
These little subs goes hard, the camera dosnt really do it justice but we also fitted some JL audio C5 splits which are quite loud

20 liters/0.70cft cft net or including port and driver displacement? What is the FS on that 8” excluding the manual specs?

Yeah a Jl w3 8 would also work in this enclosure, the specs between the 2 are almost identical
Box dimensions are internally 20x20x50cm port is 7.5x7.5cm and 35cm long
So depending on you wood thickness either go 12mm or 16mm will add a tad more size

Ive got the same van. Did you install the components? noticed the tweeter in the door.

SP Bygga yeah I installed a set of JL Audio C5 splits, the mids in the doors are a Nissan mount so that makes life easy and tweeters easily flush mounted into the door sail

TheRattleSnake3145 not in the application, the port fires back and “loads” of the rear wall creating more pressure
