I get to see 2-4 F-35s flyover my home every Thursday heading out for some flying hours over in the valleys
Where I used to live (near langley airforce base) we would see several aircraft fly over our house every day, occasionally F-18s.

Beyond impressive
When I was 10 years old in 94' our air show here in Central Florida had the Blue Angels. They would break the sound barrier non stop! When did they take going Mach 1 or higher out of air shows? I miss the boom booms. Just like when we see and hear the Space Shuttle coming in for a landing we would hear the Sonic Booms too!

I’ve been at the Naval Jet Base and this is the best demo flight besides the F-35
they call it a Demo , but its really a F C F, Full Functional Check Flight, they do it after a bird gets out of Maintenance or Phase Insp, they check all the systems........ worked on F-18s with VFA-25 out of Lemoore, Calif
There were some manoeuvres there - that I haven’t seen any other plane pull!

Why is there so much fuel spewing out of the tail (Vertical Stabs)? Is that normal during maneuvers? There are vent tanks in there, but...?

This is the Navy Rhino F model. Marines still have the Legacy D model if I'm not mistaken.
F35 might be more advanced. But Hornet just looks better. Looks kill.

For sure, it takes practice and also the stabilization on the AX-53 is fantastic so that helps a lot. Keep at it, you'll get better!

Dumping fuel at 1:20?
Just unburnt fuel sitting in the exhaust from the afterburner injectors.
Fuel often comes out of the fuel vents at the top of the tails too under negative G loads.
Wonder how many pounds of fuel they burn with all the afterburner use

What a hunk of junk. Took him over 25 secs to complete “minimum radius turn” while Legacy hornet could do it in 20….🙄
