I've seen acacia live not by choice and honestly the band is pretty garbage. I get why people like them, but musically its generic metal with some chugs and breakdowns. Other bands are so muhc better IMO

So heavy, tight playing live, great crowd work, nostalgia cuz I've loved them for years & Vince has this positive vibes arc thing going, it's great to see them still around killing it honestly. Not everything's gotta be sweeps & speed (which I also like)
I don't get why they rep Albany now? They're originally from and used to claim Springfield/Chicopee, MA...Basically the same area though just one is Western MA the other is Eastern NY lol

Matt Guglielmo is a MONSTER on the drums. Kevin Boutot is loved and missed. But Acacia got an amazing new drummer picking up Matt! AND Matt is a phenomenal engineer as well! So badass to see that he got into a group, and isn't just filling in on the kit!!

You don’t get the same feeling for AS in an open venue I feel. Their sound is so cavernous it needs to be in a cave or inside venue to really get the gravity of it. At least enough to bounce like a mad man!
I'm glad Vincent seems to be a more content person now, but it does change the energy of the lives shows significantly. Nothing beats angry, borderline psychotic Vincent inciting a riot in the audience/turning the venue into a warzone.
