The best Porsche 963 concluded the 2023 Le Mans 24 Hours in ninth place. In a very close and intense battle over long stretches at the 100th anniversary of the long-distance classic, the Porsche Penske Motorsport works team was struck with misfortune. All three hybrid prototypes lost ground due to incidents or technical defects. As a result, they were unable to chase overall victory with the 515+ kW (700 PS) Porsche 963.
