Sorsogon , Part 1 Legaspi City to Sorsogon City

This segment of the Sorsogon starts North Bound at Imelda Roces Avenue cor. Bicol 637 or Lacandula Drive turning left. This continues at Bicol 637 till turning left at Aquende Drive then turn right to Airport road after 500m then continue with Magayon Drive till Daraga~Legaspi Diversion Road taking a left turn. Daraga~Legaspi Diversion Road will then join with Binitayan Road till reaching AH26. Turning left at AH26 will go to Sorsogon while right turn will go to Naga City.
The trip segment will then end at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Sorsogon City. This 55Km stretch is completely along AH26 except the roads inside Legaspi City, passing through 3 towns - Daraga, Castilla then Sorsogon City. The road condition is good with moderately winding but there are segments undergoing repairs or widening.
This is the main access to & from Matnog Port so expect a lot of trucks & buses sharing the road which is paved smooth. This is also a favorite among bikers so don’t be surprised to see a group or two depending on the season of travelling.
