I grew up in lake Havana City and remember when he filmed this!
I watched this in january 1971 in Hawaii
Surreal Great!
May 7,1972 is on a Monday. What memories it really was?!!
Living in Arizona for 55 years, I find this to be real treat !
I love the dance styles of David winters. He can get through the damce before he filming the camera. Hey it's not essy. Rest in power, tough guy of mine.
I love music and Tom Jones s songs and music !
I remember when this was on. I had to watch it. Eyes glued on Thomas ❤🎤
Very bizarre but enjoyable at the same time.
How cheeky! But I love them all!❤️🙏😎🎶🥂🍾👏🏻
First time seeing this. Simply enjoyable! Great acting and music😊
Storyline is barmy but the dance routines in Havasu are well choreographed and executed with energy. Worth watching for the bizarre Johnathan Winters segments alone. London filming was in January '72 (and it looks like a London winter), Havasu filming immediately following that. Made 7 or 8 months after filming for cult movie The Day of the Wolves wrapped in Lake Havasu City. The tennis match shown in this was filmed on the final weekend of March '71 at a celebrity tennis tournament at the Nautical Inn in Havasu, the final weekend of filming of Day of the Wolves.
I was seeing this when my family and I was moving to 125tj street Lennox in harlem, NY from South London and I saw it on BBC1 , then we made it as we glued to NBC Md there goes toooom-aaaaa! He is soooo goregous!?!? 🥰🥰😗😙☺️😃🤣😂🙂
Wow!
Glad to see Karen on her big silver sparkle Ludwig drumset, was glued to the TV set at that part, love is surrender ,at age 12.
I remember watching this when it first aired.❤
Fantastic dancers! Wonder how they are all doing now. This was a really bizarre show but really enjoyable at the same tine.
Fantastic special-I have it on DVD!
So how did you get this DVD? I just to have it on VHS tape, this unfortunately is a very bad quality is there a chance that you can upload it here on YT I sure love to have a good copy of it absolutely! 😁👍I have been looking for this DVD
a very long time! so to bad it's in a very bad quality! 😢
@@sunestjern3749 The quality of the DVD I have is good, but not great! It was sent to me by someone I met through another website and he admitted that it came from a VHS tape.
The Most Mutton of Chops Indeed!
Karen Carpenter, one of a kind.
Cheesy but saved by the Carpenters who are timeless!
It was cheesy because made for an American audience
❤️🙏😎🎶🍾🥂👏🏻💥

And now for something completely different…
Why did you remove Marvin Hamlisch's reprise of "For All We Know?"
As a Welsh boy he must have thought this was quite ridiculous all this "london is me" stuff
Probably because he is a Welsh boyo to the core. But he is also a good actor and didn't miss a beat. Especially good with Kirk Douglas who he clearly admired. Connected well with Jennifer O'Neill and Hermoine Gingold too.
Where can I get the DVD?!
Unfortunately, it's not available on DVD (though there are bootleg versions floating around). Sorry.
the title is a bit deceptive...spends 2 minutes in London the rest is filmed in America !!
