- Trolls in movies are quite common even if most people don't know, there have been a lot of trolls from Lord of the Rings and the Hobbits, even from harry potter and the new Norwegian movies. So here are the 15 Biggest trolls from movies.
Trolls are making waves as my favorite fantasy creatures. They toppled dragons from their perch as my favorite. My favorites on this list have to be the jotnar from Troll Hunter, the mountain king from troll, the forest troll from Snow White... and remember, mister wink... don't be shy.
Edit: i fogot to add some favorites such as the bathroom troll from harry potter and the trolls from the lotr and the hobbit sagas.
What’s cool about trolls to me is the variety. In mythology they could be anywhere from human sized to mountain sized, ugly or beautiful, wise or stupid.

Nor are Trolls originally huge, dumb, ugly monsters that turn to stone on contact with sunlight, these are modern corruptions (probably due to Christianity) of the original terms and have spread to the point of be anchored in the collective imagination. In the old Norse Sagas, Jǫtnar (except for Skrymnir which was so huge that one night, Thor and his fellow travelers took shelter in one of its mittens, believing it to be a hut) are never described as being "giants", they are simply rival deities of the Aesir, to whom they are in all respects similar, you will have a hard time finding Aesir who do not have Jǫtunn's blood in their veins. Trǫllar, on the other hand, seem to be a special kind of magic users, such as Angrboða, "the Witch of the Ironwood". The word "Jǫtunn" itself, does not a priori contain any connotation in terms of physical size and would mean, according to linguists, something closer to "devourer". So, actually, the term "Ogre", would perhaps be a more fitting exonym to designate a Jǫtunn.

It is a mountain troll. It wasn't the mountain king itself but the mountain kings son. Meaning it's father could be massive compared to the one in the film .
