DIBILY WHAT THE WORLD HAS NOT SE
This is by far the saddest monster movie ever you wake up for a hundred years to find out all your family had died
Only to never find out your family hadnt really died had you stayed in the cave abit longer
King kong?
Yeah, but the 2017 he's alive
But hey, at the end credits there’s another roar so not everyone is gone!
Poor troll
Imagine waking up a thousand of years, only to learn you are the only one left of your kind and then some people attacks you for no reasons but also use the skull of a relative to taunt you. The troll's rage and grief is justified.
There's another Troll in the mid credit scene
Not just any skull, but the skull of a child, most likely his child
Lol Its funny cuz its a troll. Im a troll of sorts too you know
@@someidiot881 so they can make a sequel with the same plot, cause now that troll is the last troll lol
@@sgttoasterface5282 maybe
I literally bawled when the troll just stood there and accepted his death. His moans are so sad, learning that all of his family died and he was the only one left behind.
in the film's closing credits, another Troll awakens! giving a continuation to a second film.
how is this sad you must be a child straight out of your mommys womb because you obiously havnt seen an actual emotional film
@@adrenaline_snorter9787 i see tht you have an emotional range of a rock. Who hurt you that youre this bitter to a stranger? If you think that you could offence me with that, think again
Is he the king of trolls or not?
@@counterstrike2isdead he is
I liked that the troll showed emotion and had respect for things that didn’t want to harm it
i know right wish there was a happy ending i wish they let him live
@@DrHappy12 How can they let him live first killing humans are better than anything second Prime Minister n commander behind it they won't hesitate to kill hundreds of humans too if they see it as a threat.
@@pranithrony7352 well the soldiers were shooting at the trolled hes not gonna stand here take the shot hes gonna fight back
@@DrHappy12 I'm not expecting good ending from starting only because Prime Ministers will never take her word back once he/ she committed act especially not at all when it's something inhumane n giant size.
@@pranithrony7352 your right. dang it why 2022 movies sad
At first, I thought the movie is a disappointment because of this, but when I think about King Kong, I realize how good this movie is.
I felt bad for the troll
@@barzap6190 he didn’t deserve too died he just wanted too know the truth 😢
@@Tylerwag214why do they die in sunlight
@@Darnell471 Good question but I actually have no clue.
@@Darnell471 maybe it's curse for avoiding them to not come and attack in broad daylight.just like vampires can't get in home without invitation only because no one let stranger in on midnight
All I can say is, poor troll. Totally didn’t deserve any of what happened to him 😢
because the troll's weakness is ultraviolet rays... they came from darkness, they die from light. the troll was able to walk outside on broad daylight because there are clouds, no direct sunlight at the middle of the movie. but at the end, since it's a direct sun light, the troll cannot take it.
I suppose the mts and fjords could also have blocked direct sunlight?
Some reason the death of the troll reminds me of how Godzilla died in the 1998 Godzilla. It was also kind of sad, because at the end of the day, that particular version of Godzilla was just an animal looking after its young.
Kinda mix of shin Godzilla and 1998
@@Baipro More like original Godzilla movie, Shin Godzilla was basically just that but in modern day with less personal connection cause of it (director's choice it came out more cynical and that works out) I think this Troll is more solidly in line with the first godzilla film
@@kennethsatria6607 both of shin and troll are freeze to stone
The troll did absolutely nothing besides want to go home and humans wanted to kill it the whole time. Pretty accurate depiction of human history lol
Exactly! Even in fairy tales, humans indicate homicidal to genocidal tendencies. Jack and the Beanstalk, Jack literally commits theft multiple times in his home invasion and literally kills the homeowner, who was after him.
Blame it on the people who tried to destroy the damn mountain
They are based on something that doesn't even exist, it's just simple fiction XD
@@jhonaraya8704 how do you know they dont exist. Lol just bc it's on a movie doesn't mean anything.
@@Repentforthekindomogiah And why do you want them to exist if worse things could happen?
There’s a lot of Godzilla 1998 in this, and honestly not even mad
Yep that car chase scene reminds me of it
The troll knew everyone he know are already gone, he just wants to go home to his palace and die together with his people.
Yeah except 1 of the Troll king's children who were spared and captured them and then put them in Dovre Mountain just to lure him into a trap along with them. Remember in the Poat credit scene. What if its 1 of them?
There is an old saying from an long deceased but legendary director who spoke about the tragedy monsters endure "Monsters are tragic beings, they are born too tall, too strong, too heavy, they are not evil by choice. That is their Tragedy." All Kaiju fans know this saying and the Troll can relate to this saying, a giant creature awoken in a modern age where humanity is the dominant species of the planet, not knowing how much the world has changed around him during his long deep slumber, who the tiny creatures that dominate the world are and what happened to his kind. Curiosity gets the better of all living beings, the Troll explores this new world out of his curiosity, for he is not a malicious monster but a misunderstood lonely gentle giant not knowing where he is and sadly his journey ends in his demise, in his final hour of the sunrise, the Troll accepts his fate for his life in this world had come to an end.
I haven't felt this sad about a monster's death since Godzilla 1998's death and King Kong 2005's death
@Jungle hunter ah yes sir 👍
They're killing him and now they're gonna kill me!
OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!
Wrong Troll movie.
Wait....if they do a sequel, would they call it Troll 2?
I remember that death lol that poor girl she was cute
So sad that the troll just dont go away he just accept his death
1:46 I almost cride at this part
Poor him. He just did that to leave oslo alone.
It was already too late. The sun was already in his face. He can never outran the sunlight with his size.
His family died out after being ambushed by humans
@@CameronJAdams because he got scared of the weapons he didn't mean to kill the old man it's his tails fault lol
Powerful stuff - never before seen in cinematic history - a scientist woman with daddy issues, who makes stupid decisions that get other people killed and put others in grave danger - what a hero
Cringe
You can tell that the troll was so depressed by how he just accepted his death because he wanted to die
Can’t blame him, his people are gone, his home destroyed, his family are dead, and he has no idea if his last child is alive or not.
I would probably accept death too at that point.
Probably the most emotional movie for me for last years I had tears in m eyes! 😢
If you guys watch the end, a bunch more trolls start popping out of the mountain, so I hope they get revenge
Yeah killing humans are better than anything if I'm with them first one I kill is directly Prime Minister
Kind of hoping that the other trolls were a sort of “King’s Guard” that ventured with the King when he went to go rescue his son. Now that they’re king is dead, they must be pretty pissed…
Never seen a truck that is standard and automatic all at once 😂
I have to say the amount of 1998 Godzilla references in this movie is uncanny
Trueeeee I loved that movie but the main problem is the title. Same I get the references.
"What's a king without a follower?" Was probably his thoughts
If this troll is real life, I would think Norweigans will protect a part of their National heritage and culture.
Isn't it suppose to be a wonder what kind of Magic made such creature possible? 🤷♂
That would be hard to do with the Royal Palace in Oslo built over the corpses of his wife and children.
The "ending" made me sad, didn't want it to end that way, but i LOVED the movie!
2:08 plase take a moment to realize how is sad this scene..
I was literally shouting “JUST MAKE PEACE WITH HIM!” and it was too late. At least in the end credits, more are hiding. Just not in the outside world
There's more of these things?
It's implied to be his surviving child. It's said they lured him to Dovre and buried him in the mountains using one of his children as bait. It's possible the child was buried with him.
Shin Godzilla and Troll is one of the most saddest movies of all time
This is so sad tbh. 😢
he is not alone because all of us here in the comment area are trolls
Ok but did anyone see the post credit scene? I Hope the new Troll Destroys Humanity in the second part.
I think Trolls can understand Norwegian language and The MC would probably try to talk it out
one troll wont destroy the entire human race in your dreams
Yeah I see it too. Remember what Siding said that Olaf's soldiers habe spared and captured the Troll king's children. They put them in Dovre mountains just to lured him into a trap along with them. What if its 1 of them?
@Jungle hunter The Troll wasn't the villain
@Don Pula Here's an idea.....what if this Troll was the child? What if it was the king emerging at the end?
It reminds me of Godzilla 1998, Stone(name of the troll I gave him) was just sleeping and only awoke to go back home while Godzilla (Zilla) awoke to reproduce and end humans. Stone only wanted to head back home but Godzilla(Zilla )they had to kill him to save humanity. If a troll was real like Stone I would sacrifice my life for his. We are the true beasts of the Earth.
But alas for every sad end = a happy beginning
Zilla would have overpopulated in weeks though it had to be stopped for the greater good even if it was a loss to the world that such a miracle had to be killed humans were as in this movie defending themselves we just need to learn how far we should go in doing so to cause the least amount of damage and not to add further conflict
I thought trolls were ugly killing machines I guess they’re innocent Giants trying to stay away from us😢
This is sad.The troll looked so thankful
The worst ending the Troll just stood there while the tanning beds hit him then u get a nice moment and seconds later the sun rises
Although I loved the movie the sun rising was unrealistically to fast the troll could of had enough time to make it to his dead relatives.
It's odd to explain but the troll literally couldn't move because of the light
@@Azombination he would still die something that big aint out running the sun rise
Gd thing there was another troll 🧌 alive 😢❤️
I feel bad for troll ended up dying there really breaks my heart 😢1:39
Human being is naive, hypocrite and greedy. Poor Troll, he got murdered by Tiny creature that called human
The troll actually is the good guy...
vs the Norwegian Army... "military army" is redundant.
Also I love how this film goes "knights during the crusades killed them all" yet howitzers and tanks do nothing.
Magic maybe?
@@Kylldrah like what? The film never establishes that. If they said something like "holy water" or "the Cross" weakens them, then at least there would be something to work with but we're actively given a more "scientific" angle.
I watched this last night I was hoping the troll would survive
R.I.P Troll 😔😔😔😔😭😭😭😭
wait how did it not turn to stone in the beginning then since it was daytime? does it require direct sunlight?
That's what they said in the movie. It's a tad iffy in my opinion.
Its UV lights, apparently. The skies were cloudy the entire movie until the ending scene.
how the troll is afraid of the sun is like the trollhunters series
The trolls death scene at the end of the movie reminded me of Godzilla’s death at the end of godzilla vs destroyah
All he wants is to get home to see his family ..
His castle was destroyed, and his family are nothing but bones.
They should make a Part 2 man
Imagine waking up a thousand of years, only to learn you are the only one left of your kind and then some people attacks you for no reason other than your big but they also use the skull of a relative in your eyes to taunt you. The troll king's rage and grief is justified.
It hurts to see the troll suffer 😢
The troll didn’t do anything wrong, he’s just trying to hurt the ones that are bothering him
I liked this scene so much man
This movie gave me a shadow of the colossus vibes and thats a good thing
Speech : For Trolls and Troll King, we know that all Trolls are misunderstanding humanity. We know they're Ugly, Stinky, and Scary, but they have Big Hearts. We love you Trolls😘😘
I'm imagining that if there is a troll, there must be elves, fairies, witches, dragons, and other fantastic beings, it would make a great shared universe, you know.
kinda confused ? sorry ... she turned off the spotlights so that the troll won't die .. yet . .the movie killed the troll via sunlight ? the movie portrayed the troll's good nature when it saved the kid and the father ... so it's a very sad ending for the troll .. just my thoughts
because the troll's weakness is ultraviolet rays... they came from darkness, they die from light. the troll was able to walk outside on broad daylight because there are clouds, no direct sunlight at the middle of the movie. but at the end, since it's a direct sun light, the troll cannot take it.
@@hiro.ocampo yup .. but it's just sad and nonsense when the main character don't want to kill the troll . yet the sunlight killed it ... makes no sense to me as a plot
The box of Wheetos that troll came out of must’ve been huge!
INSANE MOVIE!!! SAW IT YESTERDAY........
Hey did you get a copyright claim because I did it
Now someone please write an alternate fanfic ending of this film, I don't care how bad the writing is, this shit left me scarred since the brachiosaurus died in JW2
its so sad that the troll just stood there and accepted his death like the people wanted to attack him and he didint did anything its the saddest moment that he died
They tiesed a second movie aswell at the very end in the credits so hopefully we'll see Troll 2 or something in a couple years with more trolls than just one
tbh i thought this would be a sequel to the movie troll hunter 2010
Isn't it?
It is in my heart
I thought it was a remake
i fell asleep while watching this now i gotta watch it again 💀
definitely give it another watch. IMO, it’s definitely good
He might of been a villain but damn his death was sad 😭
He was never a villain! He was misunderstood and just wanted peace
He isn't a villain he only attacked those who harm him and even save a childs life
No more Trolling the internet
The ending makes me cry
After the movie there one more troll in a cave is there a part 2 of this movie if they have it will be great to wait
Ok.. the troll i can really releate to king kong's ending and story.. both are the last of there kinds and both died in the end.. sad.. end
Ratio'd by the sun
I cried so much in this movie my eyes swell to the point that I can't open it.😭 I sympathize with the troll I mean if you were to put in his situation you will also do the same😢
The only question for me is: How could people in the past slaughter dozens of Trolls while modern weapons can't harm one troll?
Another thing to note is that trolls, or *þursar*, are told to be VERY terrified of storms, or to be more specific, thunder and lighting. It all has to do with a certain hammer-wielding god who favors humans...
Best new movie in netflix defitely on a buget but hopefully part 2 is bigger badder with out exaggerating cgi the roots of this movie will be key for part 2
Not much of a fight, but the charge of the Light Brigade worked this time.
What place on earth goes from midnight to noon this quick?
There gonna be the next creature coming in the next movie
Like Kong movie 😂
Strong Godzilla 1998 vibes
Better call the trollHunter (2010)
Bruh I just saw it has nothing to do with it and trollhunter was actually good, this one? Not so much
Nah Bro, More Like: Gipsy Danger From Pacific Rim
Yes let's tame him and have an Allie. Always works... 😐
Ωραία ταινία
I just didn't like how the sun came all the way up out of nowhere
What ur plan has troll heal keep best total story let later King Kong 😢
'Twas beauty killed the beast
The troll died like burning godzilla in 1995
But instead of melting he turns to stone
I LOVE TROLL😢
i like this movie
That is amazing kill
Before he dies ask him about the knobs on temple walls
This is just godzilla but in Norwegian.
0:12-0:13
Movie was solid
❤
i cried when the trolled died it was so nice it didnt harm any people he saved people son and dad and i forgot who else he saved why could there be a happy ending
Because humans are worst monsters n killing humans are better than anything
@@pranithrony7352 your right
Oh my God that sun killed the troll
THE DAWN WILL TAKE YOU ALL!!! 1:42
Ngl the trolls beard reminds me of kratos’s beard
So basically a Godzilla movie but a Troll
In harrypotter socerous stone movie, one giant with wooden weapon would come and fight with harry, hermione, ron in bathroom.. his name is also troll.
Human beings will do the same thing to the last unicorn...if they find it!
