    Heat got too cocky when they were up 15. They lost focus because they thought the game was over and they deserved to lose that game

      It was extremely reminiscent of 2006 game 3 when Dallas was up 2. That changed the series. This game did too. Miami had a fight on their hands and they knew it.

    This was a huge legacy changer for Dirk, before this he was thought of as a choker and this is now what people remember from him I'm happy he got this one

      Unpopular opinion: LeBron saved Dirk’s legacy. If LeBron plays average in this series, and just a bit better in the 4th quarter, Heat win in 5 games. Not to take anything away from Dirk, but Dallas barely won with LeBron playing like shit. Heat should have won the series pretty convincingly.

    11:04 this showed the maturity of Lebron compared to the maturity of Wade, Wade knew it's never over. The next year, when the Heat are up in the final game against the Thunder, Chalmers starts premature celebrating, and James stops him.
    He learned, and matured. Only way to win a championship.

    I’ll always remember the corner 3 by Wade, followed by the aggressive celebration by James. It looked like the game was over, but I was hoping for another 4th quarter comeback and I’m so grateful I got to see that unfold. Without a doubt, it will go down as one of the best come-from-behind victories in NBA Finals history.

      Victor Gomez
      Bosh was not known for good perimeter defense. Haslem had been guarding Dirk for most of the game, so it was weird they would just change it for that final play. Also, Bosh would be your best guy to guard the paint and go for a rebound, so having him out on the perimeter guarding the best shooter on the field was kind of strange. I don’t think it was hilarious, but for sure questionable.

      It depends on how you think about it. The shooting itself is easy. But making that decision to let Chalmers to shoot, instead of the big three, the previous several fake screens, requires high courage for the coach as well as those players.

    Q - what made dallas so good this year opposed to any other year?

    I love Dirk "Frankenstein" Nowitzki and I was so happy to see him winning. BUT witnessing 3 eternal losers such as James Wade and Bosh lose after "bringing their talents together" was the biggest satisfaction in NBA history.

    There is no moment in MJ’s career where he went out like this. Even in MJ’s losses you never saw disappearance. He was there the whole time and the other team was always supposed to beat MJ...he never lost as the favorite.

      @@dreday5880 the 2011 finals really is bad stain on lebron career, but look what he has done since then. Even a bron hater has to admit he’s redeemed himself. I know there’s been a lot of final losses but look at the context of the games, 2011 is the only finals lebron didn’t perform

      Because MJ has fundamentals, performs well in the clutch, and wants to destroy his opponents at all costs. There's a mental gap between MJ and Bron's approach to the game.

    Miami was like Holy Crap we had a 1-0 series lead appeared to take 2-0 series lead on Dallas with 7:14 left in 4th quarter. Then after Wade hits corner 3,he holds the follow through up,as he and James celebrate thinking we got this,only pissing Dallas off as Mavericks even the series 1-1 here and eventually winning in 6.

    All spolkstra had to do was isolate one side of the floor and get a pick and roll with dirk force a switch or them to go under and bron could have won this series but lack of coaching killed it. Also bosh was getting fried bacon
