  • Dallas had one of the greatest comebacks in game 2 to tie the series 1-1. Game 3 returns to Dallas where they look to secure home court advantage. While Dwayne wade has been unstoppable for Miami. Lebron is yet to stake his claim on the series. For the heat, Mario chalmers has excelled off the bench.

it won't be recognized as one of the greatest finals of all time just for the fact I think the so called experts said nobody could beat the Heat's big 3. Nowitz is my favorite nba player of all time, and a very humble kind man,

This series is such a mystery to me.
LeBron was under unbelievable pressure that season and he obviously collapsed in the finals with some bizzare passive behaviour. It is almost inexplicable. When you look at how he dispatched the Celtics and the Bulls in previous series, playing at a crazy MVP level, you realize why the Heat were such overwhelming favorites against the Mavs. The talent gap seemed too huge to overcome despite many savvy vets, and Spo was coaching pretty well to match Carlisle.
What the hell happened here, i guess we can never know for sure. Bron was already showing bad signs from game 2 onwards but even here they are in a good position, up 2-1 and having lost game 2 in a weird manner, so they should just finish off the apparently gassed Mavs in games 4 and 5. As it turned out both those games were very close but the Mavs prevailed by a possession or two.
Miami seemed to be utilizing Wade ISO and James was the "bait", the distributor in spreading the floor, while on D he was supposed to roam the passing lanes with Dwyane while the bigs contained Nowitzki.
Bosh also failed in this playoffs and proved during the next 3 post season runs that he was just not the star you can really count on. As LeBron embraced the leader role, we saw what happened in 2012-14, and they kind of mentally checked out in 14 while the SPURS overran them by putting on a passing clinic.
But this 2011 i Will never understand.
The stage was set after this game 3 for LeBron to take over and bounce back from his few poor games, but he continued sinking and just couldnt get out of the slump, his body language defeated, working hard on the floor but also looking completely lost, as if he was a Harrison Barnes or a Shawn Marion.
Superstars usually went out gunning (Kobe in 04, LeBron in the Warriors losses, etc) but this is just inexplicable and a gigantic stain on an otherwise Stellar career.

Hot Sizzle I'm not a fan of Dallas, but they where constantly lighting it up and coming back throughout that whole 2011 playoff season. I mean Miami choked and couldn't hold off Dallas from scoring so there for "Dallas was to much for them". The mavs where the better team and had better chemistry then Miami. Miami had there chances but couldn't hold em off. I mean give the mavericks the credit they deserve instead of saying things like that. The heat didn't do it to themselves, Dallas stepped up and put points on the board lightning fast in spurts and Miami had no answer what's so ever, Dallas's zoned defense melted Miami throughout that series as another key factor to why they beat them. The mavericks knocked off the two time defending champions same season, that lakers team that was favored to beat them. The mavs where the silent best team in the NBA that season and proved it during the playoffs, They where better then the overrated overhyped maimi heat that season.

miami was defeated because as of the first year there was a leadership race between wade and lebron; this damaged both their own games and the team. lebron intentionally played bad; If Miami was the champion, her fmvp would be chosen as wade, and lebron did not want a championship under wade's fmvp, he did not want a championship under the leadership of wade. and his first championship ...
The next season, the lebron leadership took over in the indiana series and won the championship. wade de got angry because he played bad in the lebron dallas series and wade deliberately played bad in 2014.
lebron has not lost any dallas matches so far after the 2011 defeat of dallas. cavs, miami, lakers ... lebron did not lose any dallas matches while on the field.
nba lobbies did not want lebron to win 4-5 championships early. because it would already have passed jordan and nba wouldn't have any pleasure. nba wants to take advantage of lebron for a longer period of time; we're watching lebron, let's see if lebron will surpass jordan? This season, Lakers will be champions.
If irving and love had not been injured and Durant did not come to GSW, Lebron would have had 6 championships and would have already passed Jordan. Nba did not allow this. because nba's locomotive is michael jordan.
