So basically, an alternative for windtalker. Either get movement speed mm or range mm. Get both and find your mm lacks dmaage.
It's straight up a substitute. The lifesteal is way too good too miss on.
Hanabi being the prime case.... Unless team fights her damage feels likeđąđą... But lifesteal is good for tho

Doesn't Malefic Gun give movement speed boost for 1 second when you attack? I think Windtalker will be heavily out shadowed, just like Bloodlust Axe after the new War Axe was introduced.

God Layla's basic attack is bigger than Yve's Ult, and rival's Pharsa's ult rangle lmao, having 8 units of basic attack from her usual 7, along with that movement boost, she'll be a monster in the LG

Melissa definitely need this item!! As a Melissa main we struggle to chase moving targets therefore wasting the damage potential of his second skill

If anything i learn for dota2 is you dont need to improve a hero's strength, but fix their weakness. Layla already have the longest range, all she need is survivability and damage, the slot would be more useful for other items

We should probably stay away from using this on melee heroes. Increasing their small basic attack range by 15% won't do much. Meanwhile marksmen like Layla who already have massive basic attack ranges get a very big boost from it.

she does more damage with it too since her attack damage scales with how far she hits enemies from, why is nobody mentioning that? layla already has bonkers damage, now she will be nasty if fed
Tbh its more like a love-item for melee atk spd heroes that usually struggle trying to chase an enemy thats kiting them, so the extra mov spd and range does help them catch up to them more easily, specifically argus, freya and others.
For marksmen, its not that big of a deal as theyâre alrdy ranged and dont usually struggle hitting enemies unless its for specific purpose like repositioning and whatnot
They didn't mention that it works on all heroes đ this boutta get nerfed fr.

They'd probably change the movement speed boost tho cuz Irithel would be way too fast
but the problem is the additional range is not fixed amount but percentage so those heroes with wide basic attack range will benefit more and those melee with small range will have unnoticeable increase on range

His first skill and 2nd skill can trigger it well so no escape for the enemies at that point

I tried it and honestly GDS performed better. The malefic just had more lifesteal but less damage
@@rawrn. you know that you can just combine this item with GDS right? Haasclaw-Berserk-GDS-Malefic-boots for early but you can switch it to windtalker on lategame-wind of nature or any flex item you want to try--THIS ITEM IS GREAT FOR IRITHEL!

The unique passive zeal 15% speed is the re counter of blade armor which reduces movement speed by 15% both for 1 sec

I am one of those Mythic Honor players right now who always ban Moscov since Epic 2. Now that an indirect buff to him is here, I will continue banning him, you should too.
I think this item is also good for argus. I mean he relies on attack speed and critical damage for his passive. Even its ability is useful for argus to boost his basic attack range for a while to chase down enemies for a bit. Also the items passive works well for argus for a bit more movement speed to chase down enemies

Claude is definitely nice with this. Even if it doesn't extend ultimate range, it makes him rather scary when poking tanks from safer distance. That lifesteal is also nice, since dhs+won doesn't give enough against blade armor+dominance combo.

Bruh claud has low lifesteal ratio not like other heros like moskov

@@frost083 I'm thinking of swapping out windtalker when the games goes very late that you swapped boots. As I said, DHS+WoN doesn't give enough lifesteal when you poke the tank with domi+blade. Definitely won't buy it until I can swap out boots, other attack items are just better on Claude

Elgin, you forgot that Wanwan can benefit from Zeal by using Ult, the mv spd boost is nice for her ult, or am i not understanding her nerfed ult works?
Yeah as an sidenote I think Argus could benefit from this one but that's my one cent.
Anyways with this time technically you don't need boots anymore for the late game? As long as you attack and you like build windtalker then it's a nice sub to boots at that point on late game assuming you can properly reposition and attack.

On paper it's so good on Freya since she basically needs to hug the enemy to attack and they can easily just run away from her. The added range and movement speed will help her chase the enemies

Elgin, there's a bug when Esme uses Blood Wings. I'm not entirely sure how the bug works, but the item's passive doesn't work right when she uses it.
How about clint? Clint passive what makes him special and op, his long range attack is the only thing that makes him strong, but then giving other marksmens a way to enhcance their range is unfair for him since his not relying too much on his basic attack but to his passive

I think Melissa can work well with this item since she was nerfed that you need to hit anything to trigger her 2nd skill so that means she doesn't have to move closer to the enemy
I KNOW YOU CAN JUST CLICK THE ATTACK MINION BUTTON but it won't deal the double damage so you can just attack the enemy with this new item

They should put a restriction on it where it only triggered when hitting a enemy Heroes and fix Claude & Ixia ultimate range.

Since the attack range bonus is percentage (15%) it wouldn't fit best in short attack range hero. I supposed it'll fit better with middle range heroes (fighter) like Freya or Aulus.

Some of them can be safe from the distance in teamfights for now but... Sneaky and cunning Assassin Heroes is still the biggest risk despite having a longer range with Layla's Malefic Gun item so be more careful where you are going to position for teamfights and make sure that the Assassin is far away from them or make them dead first so you and your team can safely clean them with no problems.
What if they will make an item like aghanims scepter in dota2. Imagine a Kaja can pull 2 enemies at the same time (like batrider).
Malefic gun plus great dragon spear use to Irithel total broken
All im saying Great dragon spear ( +30% movement speed when using ultimate) + quantum and malefic gun = 75% movement speed. Which you can use for crit build for: Irithel, Clint, Miya and Moscov maybe. (Zilong can also go crazy with this) But you tell me im not in advance server so im not sure.

Youâre wrong about kimmy, while most of her damage comes from skill 1 - itâs 1) not a huge dps increase on single targets and 2) runs out quick. You need to kite with basic attacks to recharge her energy because her dash has a 15 second cooldown and hr ultimate doesnât recharge energy
