Today we walk you through setting up your new Taco Moto Co. Athena GET ECU for the first time.
Presumes you’ve already installed the WiGET app on your device.
May help if you put your phone in airplane mode w WiFi enabled if you’re having difficulty getting it to connect to the Athena WiFi module.
You can download the app and play with it even if you don’t have a GET ECU to check it out before you decide to buy one.
look for a new app update in 2020 that will introduce a host of upgrades and features including a live dashboard screen w engine RPM and other useful motor sensor outputs.

The app has personality. I like your view of life :) I learned some things. Didn’t know you could change the TPS and RPM values.
There’s a new even more powerful update coming out just after the first of the year that will be pumping up the features and capacities. I’m super stoked for this one to roll out
can you talk more about zeroing the TPS? maybe a stand alone vid? for instance - does bike need to be running? Warmed up? etc?
This is great but how about an installation video. Do you need to go thru the TPS reset procedure if you've never messed with your TPS?

Really informative video but I hate messing with all this stuff that I don’t have a thorough understanding of. Just want the bike (300xc-w TPI) to be tamer and not foul plugs. I’d buy a map from your recommendation and leave it at that.

Great Video, installed mine on the 21 500EXCF, getting a few choke stalls, but that's from tight woods wrong gear and idle set too low. Just did the wifi connection and zeroed out the tps for the first time after 2 moths of riding and a few races. Thanks for all the good videos

How do I make it so map? One on the handlebar switch is aggressive and map two on the handlebars is soft.
Thanks for the in depth video! I put one of these on a 2018 KTM 450sxf after the factory ECU took a dump after 6 hours of use and ruined my whole trip!!! I love the product, but I can't seem to find where to get MAP's and their customer service is non-existent!! I downloaded the GET Performance center software, registered for an account, but the login never works, forgot password never works, and they don't reply to email requests for help haha.

I have a 21 500 exc and need to set TPS were do you adjust idle control knob do i back it off 100% then set TPS then turn it up to the desired RPM ?

I have a get ecu green one for a 2018 kxf 250 I removed it from my old bike and have put it on my new kxf 250 22 model but the bike does not start with it on so wondering if I can download a map to it to make it work on the new bike?

Maybe a stupid question, but are the IG/FI 1 and 2 sections in the app the Map 1 and Map 2 on the handlebar switch?
I would like to have something like a "aggressive/standard" setting for Map 1 and a "wet/soft" map for Map 2 on the switch.

I've got a 16 yz250f and hooked up the GET and connected to my phone but when I try to adjust the map it doesn't bring up a table like yours did. Just a plus and minus adjustment for the fuel and ignition for the whole rev range. Is there any way to fix this?
No, the table came out for newer models. My 2020 has it, my 2018 doesnt

How do I soften the response of the bike to simulate the stock ECU?
Bought the GET ECU to fix stalling and 1/8 throttle stumble issues.
Firstly - did it fix that stumble problem?
Just completed the idle screw mod. That seemed to take care of the stutter, and soften the power.
However still seem to have an infrequent bog when on the gas hard, off the gas, and back into the gas hard.
Question:
I have 2020 FC350 with GET RX1 PRO+Wificom+Map Switch+Traction control.
I live in a temperate climate and find it really hard to cold start (once it has started and leave it like coming in for a breather it will start fine again when I go back out so like 20-30min of not running) so when cold starting it cranks and cranks away without firing, I have to repeat it like 3-5 times before it’ll run. Is there some secret to starting the bike?

If one would apply say “Factory Maps Wet” is that simply a overlay to the base map on the ecu? Or is it a complete get factory map?

When you send a custom map to the ECU (custom 1) and then open system info will you see a reference to know you have custom 1 map currently running in the ECU?
If not, how can you tell what you have overlaid to the base maps in the ECU?

That’s hard to know, what bike, what ecu did you get, what map is in it? Need to get some info here
Question, how do you upgrade or do you need to upgrade the APC Map? Mine is APC_EXC350_20PR12r01_0 There is a newer version on Athena website?
Depending on what the later versions mod it may or may not be needed. Ecu must be dealer flashed
kinda sucks not being able to change fuel below 2000rpm's. Say you only wanted to increase fuel during startup because the bike was lean and hard to start you would select zero throttle and rpm's below say 800. that way once it starts and the rpm's are above 800 it goes back the regular settings. they need to change that so tuners will have control over dead engine starts.

@@TACOMOTOCO just making a statement, you never know after modifications what you may need to adjust. a robust ecu like the GET seems like it would give you the ability to do what you want. I didn't see the ignition map but if you wanted to pull a couple degrees of timing out just during cranking and back to base after it cranks can't be done with it limiting you to 2000 minimum. Wonder if the Honda or Yamaha programers allow you to adjust at low rpm's?

Can't do it with phone app. You need GET software for PC.
