I have my Bike now for two weeks and its the best bike i have ridden so far. The Engine is absolutely great. Compared to the 1190 you can ride it with 2500 rpm in the City, midrange Power is kind of brutal but very easy to handle, top End is more than you need. Its great in cornering, very stable and a perfect compromise of a comfortable touring bike and a very capeable sportmaschine.wind Protection is ok, you are not completely covered, you are more sitting in a very clean and turbulence free Air Stream, wich is very helpful to get some Air into your helmet. I rode it down to 5,9 Liters on Country roads in touring Mode. Great bike, hope reliability will be not an issue cause this is the weakest point on a ktm.

@@Dan-hb7om Until the first service and 1000km there is a rpm limit, it think it was 6500 rpm. That means you have the max torque and can speed up to 190kmh. The Power ist not restrictet nor are you limited to rev higher, its just jo shouldn´t . Since having the service done i never needed mor than 7500 rpm on normal touring cause the midrange power is even more brutal than on my old zx12r. I have done about 2000km now and i love it more and more. great bike, hell of a fun to ride.

No issues for me. Been riding city all week. Not sure how it is be during the summer though. An option is to get the ergo heated seat, it's a lot more comfortable and it's thicker. Haven't felt any heat at all with that seat on
