The "I wanna stop.. and thank you baby" in this arrangement is confusing to me. The playfulness of the lyrics and breaks on "STOP" against the melancholy minor key doesn't work at all. Also, Paul Weller singing duo with a black female vocalist worked in Style Council, not so much here. I mean, an old guy and his middle aged buddies singing all sad and serious to a woman young enough to be his daughter? It's just too creepy and weird for me, dog.

Corrine has a beautiful voice like no other. Lovely warm tones. Best version of that song ever. Excellent collaboration.
