I don't think there is any need to apologise. 1) it keeps focus on the topic in hand 2) it means we don't miss out, particularly with the longer format stuff, if we chuck it on whilst for example out on a walk or on a drive and 3) it's your style. For me it feels like you're talking to me, whereas sometimes you can lose that attention if you've got fancy animations and over enthused creators. I appreciate that may attract new/different people, but that doesn't mean you need to apologise. PokeBeard does similar and look how he's doing! And when the next generation convert from collectors to hobby enthusiasts/investors, they've got years of to the point education! Winners for them.

I don't think you need to edit your videos as you think, your communication skills are so good and it makes you authentic to just sit and talk to us 1 to 1 (like Rudy). I think a lot of us edit the videos a lot because we are lacking your skill, not otherwise, keep up the good work mate!

I just got into collecting about a month ago and been watching a bunch of different people. I'm more drawn to your videos as well as a couple others BCUZ they're not the flashy, over the top BS. Just straight to the point, great at explaining things well enough that someone newer can understand, and overall great takes. You don't have to apologize for not being like other people. As long as you’re paying around $105 or less for these bb what difference will a reprint make….if a reprint drops the price $10 a box big deal. These are long term holds and small increases / decreases mean nothing. I personally am buying this stuff for my kids and grandkids to enjoy and / or sell….so yes I personally will likely never see the appreciation of these investments and it doesn’t bother me one bit. I enjoy the chase and investing…
The only thing is the poor sets could end up in darkness ablaze territory for a long time.
Yeah that’s possible but if you can get bb in the $85 range even the less popular sets still seem to do well. I personally am not a big fan of Obsidian Flames but yesterday one of my lgs had some marked at $85 out the door so I bought 3…

Yeah I pre-ordered 8 cases of 151 booster bundles for Q4 here in Germany. Multiple online stores have them as Q4 preorders, but so far just the bundles.

I do believe the videos without edits are 100% fine, but have you considered standing in the middle of the frame? Was actually thinking (right before I saw the apology part of the video) about why is 75% of the screen is reserved to put 5 random images. Just take the whole spotlight to yourself haha.

You don’t need any editing mate, content is either educational or entertaining and while it is both i come for the information and not the flashy editing I’d find in a video that’s not suppose informative just entertaining. Just my opinion but I’m enjoying the vids mate good stuff, only started the tcg again recently since realising what all my cards woulda been worth I used to have as a kid that are gone and now needing new knowledge as someone getting back into it. Stores around my location and online has been increasing the price for Paldea Evolved and Temporal Forces for both booster boxes and single loose packs. Paldea and Twiiight are currently the two most popular set that people are just ripping currently, so I'd say twilight is gonna go up pretty soon.
Yep, paldea has just crept up a bit here in Aus too.
we are about to be 10 sets in and we havent had a major reprint except base and some 151 restock.. ppl have missed out on 70-80 dollar boxes. Even cheaper if you shop around and used coupons and deals. I think the market is just flat out wrong on this one and will be . Ive been accumulating 400-500 dollar cases. I just dont see prices going lower thn that . I could be wrong of course but i will gladly buy some more cheap boxes

temporal forces is the only set that matters. the SIR follow a common theme and the art work is fantastic. You have gen 1 pokemon as well.
It's a really solid set!
Big re prints will come for paldea, paradox and probably temporal to destroy second hand market scalpers.
Paradox would surprise me a little bit. I can still get booster boxes for $10-20 below MSRP.
@erichardca can't really use that as a related metric though because sv base still got reprinted while already being well below msrp

I think Paldea Evolved will be the golden egg out of SV. I’m able to get them in the states for about 110 a booster box sealed.

Paldea Evolved is a well balanced set, it’s got good artwork, the pull rate is reasonable, my only niggle is the print quality

Reprints are a problem with investors, so, how do you tell if it is a reprint or not a reprint?
No difference just a flood of sealed products making it a longer time horizon for return.
Reprints will happen when stores can order through the distribution chain.
Don't worry about making your videos flashy, just keep it basic and keep speaking facts and that's all we care about. Don't be a cookie cutter just keep doing what you're doing mate.

I'd be surprised if it gets another reprint but it's already been printed a lot!
I am not an investor, I collect pokemon cause of nostalgia and art. While I believe that a perfect balance of printing runs and rarity is a key to a stable tcg hobby, compared to japanese sets, english SV is in dire need of reprints. I am not saying SRs or IRs should be dirt cheap, but majority of them are brutally overpriced, english SV cards in general are really too expensive at the moment compared to japanese. This is also a consequence of low pull rates of english sets, but yeah, Pokemon co. should print 151 and the rest of english SV sets as soon as possible...
I'd be very surprised if most don't get a reprint!

Personally reprints don’t bother me at all.
It’s all about if a set is good or not.
Roaring Skies & XY Evolutions got FIVE reprints each.
If a set is good it'll absorb it and to be fair most sets are printed to demand. No point clogging up the distribution chain with poor sets. Sometimes they get it wrong and sets will sit for longer.

I feel Greninja is overrated, as it’s far too busy. IMO Temporal >> Twilight
I think temporal has more depth but twilight has the bigger hit!

@@pokeoz91 I’m just saying I feel it’s a lot like Lost Origin where yeah Greninja is definitely the heavy hitter for sure.
But Lost Origin had Aerodactyl which was also sweet and two Pikachu Trainer Galleries and a nice Rotom and rainbow Giratina.
Likewise Twilight Masquerade also had not just Greninja but the beautiful Perrin & Growlith special illustration rares and the amazing Carmine and Kieran SIRs as well as the incredible Eevee IR.
Look how well Magikarp is doing in PE despite just being an IR.
Could one really argue that Eevee is less popular? Eevee is very popular in my experience and just as much as Magikarp.
