As a little girl that grew up with the sweetest Rottie ever, this hits differently. I remember being 4 years old and riding around on his back. He lived a long full life and died when I was 21 away in college. Bo, thank you for an entire childhood of incredible memories just like these.

That’s a good age 17 for a Rottweiler
Never brokedown watching a video.. but.. as I'm typing this, I'm laying next to my 8.5 year old Rottweiler named Griffin. Found out a few weeks ago my bestfriend is dying from bone cancer. He changed my life when I was at my lowest point. But for now I'm gonna make sure he's comfortable and in good spirits. I love him so much.. I have lost other pets and close relatives in my life. But, this has actually broken my heart more than all of them combined. Rottweilers are very special dogs. They're smart, protective, fearless, and most importantly they're full of love. They're so sweet and goofy.. I'm really going to miss the big fella 😔

So there was an older dog named Zara, and this new puppy is what healed the little girl's heart? I've watched it twice and it wasn't a very clear video to me. Very sweet, though! ❤

@@OneIssueVoter The little girl named *Gia* ... she wasn't the one who passed away in this video. Zara was the name of the Rottie they had previously. Zara passed and they got a new one who's name Zamba.

I'm a big ugly 53 year old guy from London, but this video warmed the cockles of my heart. What an excellent idea: get a very young puppy when you have a little girl.
My parents got a black lab puppy when i was 1, then had my sister when i was 2. I can only imagine the amount of work it was, but i have such good memories of growing up with a dog. And she always had someone to throw the tennis ball or play tug of war - and she also crashed our kiddie pool in the summer.

From what I’ve read Rotties are very loyal and protective. A few years ago I met my first Rottweiler owned by a friend of mine. Lucky was an adult when met him. He was a cuddle bug! He loved my lap. He loved hugs too. Then my friend moved out of state. He called me in 1998 and told me Lucky had passed away of old age. I cried. I loved that big boy. He was a big kisser. Didn’t mind his slurpy tongue one bit.
I remember when Zara and her bandmate were posted the very first time! I’m so sorry to hear that she’s crossed the rainbow bridge.❤
I’m sure that Zara sent Zamba to continue watching over her girl. I wish this family many, many years of joy together ❤❤❤

I grew up with a bulldog named Misha and and small black dog named coco They were both very gentle and sweet, and I slept in their bed every day when I was only a couple months old When I was a toddler, my mom sold the dog Because we weren’t paying as much attention to her we gave Coco to one of our family members cuckoo, unfortunately passed away of a disease, but because I wasn’t around her I don’t know how she passed They were both very sweet dogs and made me so happy. I love them.

You just cannot beat unconditional love from a pet. Seeing this video made me think of all the cats & dogs I had in my lifetime. I loved them so much. At 58 years, I have 3 cats right now. Realistically it may be the last 3 pets I will ever have.
