  • How to Make Native Terrarium in Nature for FREE - Full Steps Explained
This video "How to Make Native Terrarium in Nature for FREE - Full Steps Explained" provides a detailed guide on how to create a natural terrarium using materials found in nature. I begin by showcasing the beauty of a natural terrarium and its benefits, such as being a great indoor decoration and providing a habitat for small plants and animals.
I then take viewers on a step-by-step journey, explaining the process of creating a native terrarium from start to finish. The first step involves selecting the perfect location in nature to build the terrarium. I demonstrate how to gather the necessary materials, including rocks, soil, and small plants, from the surrounding environment.
Next, I explain how to arrange the materials inside the terrarium to create a natural-looking environment. I provide helpful tips on how to layer the rocks, soil, and plants for maximum visual appeal and proper drainage.
Throughout the video, I emphasize the importance of being respectful of nature and only collecting materials that won't harm the environment or its inhabitants. The final result is a beautiful and sustainable native terrarium that can be enjoyed for years to come.
Overall, the video provides a comprehensive and easy-to-follow guide for anyone looking to create a natural terrarium in the wild using free materials.

OMG, it’s ridiculous how much I love the fact that you included footage of what the terrarium looked like after a while! 😅 Thank you so much! Now I’ll go scan your videos for a possible update. 🤩

How do control pests? Is the the substrate sanitized? I'm just thinking about having bring bugs into my house 😅

This was native terrarium, so nothing is sanitized 😀 but I keep it on my balcony and it is closed all the time, I open it only when watering. I’m not fun of insects and bugs either but I wanted to show that everyone can make a terrarium for free. However there are few methods to sanitize the soil - the method I use is to leave the soil few days on direct sunlight… anyway I suggest using soil that is already sanitized so you don’t have problems with insects. 🤗🤍

The bugs are part of the ecosystem. Woodlice and millipedes will deal with decaying matter. Nature is not sanitized.

the insects are the best part of the terrariums, they help eat mold and dying plants

Was wondering how i eradicate the gnats thats taken over my terrarium without harming the isopods & other insects which live inside. Please help with any suggestions. Thank you

I apologize for my delayed response. To eliminate gnats, I suggest allowing the soil to dry slightly and opening the lid daily. Additionally, you can attach a yellow trap to the inside of the lid. Try this first as its safe, it should work. There are few more methods but let me know if this doesn't help. 🙏
