Known as a "chock" in the USA and British. Remember the saying "Chocks away!" that the RAF pilot would shout to the ground crew as he was getting ready to take off.

@@WW2HistoryHunter I agree! I already watch your channel for more then 10 years! I was Born in Bergen close to Fedje. But moved to Belgium when I was 7 :(. But here there is a lot also! My fathers Aunt had a farm that got taken by the Germans. Now it is all concrete. Maybe you should go there one day? I am a diver, and always wanted to go inside on the side of the farm.

You go to the most beautiful location. I couldn’t believe how clear the camera is on the ROV. What an unusual find to be in the water. I would think you would find that near an air base or amphibious air craft locations. Good job bring it up. And yes, Eagle Eyes does a great job operating the ROV. @@WW2HistoryHunter I have many German WWll aircraft models. ME-109, FW-190, ME-262 etc. I also have a lot of tank models from WWII, but I am still missing a Heinkel HE-111. So far I haven't found a model of the bomber, but I keep looking.
      Sorry for my bad English

The Heinkle He-III top-machine-gun blister is placed incorrectly, on your table-top model, I 'm sorry. The slipstream would pull it off of the fusilage if it had been mounted in that wrong direction. Here in Arizona, we had one of Generalisimo Franco, leader of Fascist-Spain's personal He-III that had been fitted with Rolls-Royce Merlins powering it, that was sabotaged, such that it crashed on its field in Mesa, Az, and is no more. I once Stood in that very gun position[--several years pre-crash], and the open-area faces the opposite direction, with the gun mounted facing the tail. All He-IIIs should have had the revolving gun-turret of the "20" variant, that often lofted the V-1 under one wing.

Looking further, I NOW see the pexiglass cover IS placed correctly. My eyes must have deceived me earlier!
