  • In his new book, Pagan America, Federalist Senior Editor John Daniel Davidson argues that America is not only becoming, but functionally already is, a pagan society. We talk about what that means, why it's happened, and what can be done about it. It's a fascinating discussion touching on a lot of themes that have really been mainstays of the show this year. Also take a listen to my introduction for a wild tesetimonial to liturgical providence (and to find out what happened with my car).

The open mockery on those "phony" Christian shows? JA totally disapproves of this. And so would've Fyodor Dostoevsky. Mainly because the cynicism poisons your entire magical sense. Dostoevsky hated nihilism.

Nothing can be "done" about Pagans.
We have exactly the same First Amendment rights as anyone.

I can help with your agnosticism on the subject: God didn’t plan out the liturgical calendar, because a) we can trace the history of men planning that calendar, and b) gods don’t exist.

Major Christian holiday traditions were adopted from Pegan holiday traditions. To vilify something that 99% of you ancestors were is an insult to them.
