Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade and Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade earlier this month celebrated the first-ever Turkish Airlines EuroLeague edition of one of the most intense and special sporting rivalries in the world. Great video. Now, the question for Euroleague is if they want to secure to have something like this every year under their belt. They are two licences away from that. Belgrade is a capital of Yugoslav basketball philosophy, one of two (another one is Lithuanian) that massively influenced or even designed in many key aspects modern European basketball, it is shame that two remaining symbols of that basketball, Red Star and Partizan, don't have long term licences. With all due respect to everyone, it was Yugoslav coaches who propelled Greek, Turkish, Italian, German, French, even Spanish basketball to a height they enjoy today. I understand arguments about market value, money, etc. but in a very fundament of all this is a game of basketball and Belgrade have solid arguments in that department. This video is great testament of those arguments.
