I don’t think he speaks in monotone, he just has a very distinctive voice he uses on radio, we all use the same tone of voice most of time.. Throughout the years he displays plenty of emotional responses but they may be limited due to the fact people only mostly here or see him in the same sort of situations... I think rather than oblivious to how others see him, he is just not concerned, he’s happy with himself, so he simply doesn’t care...

He’s cognitive processing in areas may not be as well functioning as the average man, but as a man who has been secluded to the same area for most his life, with a poor education, I think these are the factors that influence the appearance of something abnormal in him...

Not because of the stories themselves but because Ricky can't just let him tell them without interrupting, no matter how ridiculous the story is.
