An immense celebration not just for the artist’s 70th year but also a fine toast to the artist's close relationship with the Royal Albert Hall itself. Eric Clapton is the first guitarist to reach 200 performances at this beautiful, classic venue.

These backgroundsingers are freaking INSANE, those two ladies carry so much emotion, unbelievable.
no they dont. I would go as far as to say that they are ruining the original song's emotion.

Steve Gadd 70 yrs old; Nathan East 60 yrs old and Eric Clapton 70 yrs old, rocking it and sounding incredible. Real talent always stands the test of time.

Eric 78 today...still rocking...me 72 still dancing...

Timeless
Eric smiles like he's enjoying the happy audience as much as they are enjoying his performance. What a talent, still my favourite track is 'Bad Love'.

The monument of artist history.
Long live Eric Clapton.
The Royal Albert Hall turned into what a real rock and roll gig should be. Absolutely great. Love from Argentina to the one and only Sir Clapton.

Holy shit, that is so good lol
I wish I could have said it better!
Well said

Everything about this concert is more than perfect.
The aging Very British fans finally deciding to ruah the stage then forgetting to dance. Classic. Very sweet (I'm old too so I can say shit like this...)
Wow.. what a warrior. Very few artists can sound that good live after 50, never mind 70.
Más experiencia,el gran maestro Clapton!

The Great Steve Gadd on drums, ain't it? Staying out of everybody's way like a polished pro yet adding so very much to it all.
RIP to my dad. He lived Clapton and I swear I feel my dad in this music💎
I am sure you loved him.
One of the AL TIME GREATEST TRACKS ❤
That's a great memory to have of your dad!
He turns 74 today... HAPPY BIRTHDAY "slow hand".. (hearts and kisses)
83 . 81. 📡
And he's on tour! What a man!
Magic. Pure electric magic. The kind of song that you might have rocked to 35 years ago and gets you rocking at 70.
That moment you make people that are stone cold sober and anti drugs get up and boogie, you know you make kick ass music! 🎉🎉🎉❤
im only 33 and have watched this over 60 times. i grew up with Clapton, but these background singers bring such a great new element
God bless Eric Clapton ...He 's still Rockin and playing Tremendous! He has always surrounded himself with the Best Musicians
well he's just holding up his end of ''the bargain'', like Bob Dylan and Mick Jagger 😈😂
@@AndreiB92 muy bien, tu si sabes el secreto del éxito !
This was 3 years and 7 months ago! Heck, I'm only 65! Eric Clapton never sounded better or played better than he did here. What a legend! What a man! One of the all time greats! Blues baby blues!!!!
Eric Clapton at the age of 70 or 170 will still be awesome.
Started dancing It with my uncle when I was at 4 years old... Now dancing at 44 with the same joy!!
I saw Clapton in concert a couple years ago and it surprised me how well and completely he shares the spotlight with his entire band. They are all great musicians and I got the feeling he felt the same way. Came across as very humble.
He's got nothing to prove!
No one cares about your experience
THAT PIANO RIFF IS BLOODY MAGIC 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
You shoud watch "Clapton life in 12 bars", this man has endured so much pain, he is a living miracle.

Eric Clapton is one of those rare artists that is known more for his legendary live concerts through many decades than his songs. I have 0 albums of mr Clapton, but I would pay top dollar to visit his concerts, given the opportunity

Freaking key board player is fantastic! What a performance by them all on this song - WOW!
Everything is incredible. The worst part is EC's vocals, and they're not too shabby.
Oh geez...Eric the Great still sings and plays like a youngster. Incredible.
I am so glad, proud, honoured that I'm 66 and have loved this guy and his music CONTINUOUSLY for 52 fkn years. Every recording and performance has been a gem, imho.
Mr. Clapton, simply stylish, what a class playing guitar. He does not need to play as a guitar hero, he's a living God.
You are a fine wine. Thank you for staying with us for all these years
Perfectly said!!!
I love how at 3:19 he lets the women sing. He is smiling and he is really enjoying their vocals :-)
She first comes in at 0:39 I thought "Holy Crap did you hear that voice?"
I guess he always works with the biggest proffesionals for the best quality and lets be Real Theyre also needed to play those goddamn songs cus Theyre hard af to play in a full band. Therefore him being such a huge artist and playing for his whole life im not surprised he lets his co performers shine more and lets such a strong and beautiful voice pierce through more so everyone can hear
I think Eric was more or less trying to keep it together with the gyrating couple in the front row more then anything.
@@kgoerbig Hilarious folks! haha
Totally spot on haha! Incredible vocal
That's real Live music! Thank you Mr. Slowhand & Band... you are all fantastic musicians, so cool to listen and to watch it!
Steve Gaad rocks tune.
Those backing vocalists have such a beautiful voice, the best I've heard in a very long time. Was really nice to hear them being brought out prominently in the mix where they quite rightly should be. Thank you, whoever mixed this knew what they were doing. Totally professional and nothing less. What totally beautiful voices these women have. Stunning! 🌠.
Too overpowering
That was the worst part of the whole concert
Great voices but I think they were a tad loud. Kinda overpowered Clapton especially when he says cocaine at the end of the line.
I hated it with this song
Nah , that's the worst part
When you buy your tickets today to see Eric Clapton in September in Houston = "Heaven"
I have a personal goal of trying to see Eric before he passes. I got to see Ed play back in 2012 before he passed.
Long after he's gone, he'll still be a genius, one of a kind, slow hand killa
AINT NO SLOWHAND HERE.. 70 IS A SEA OF JOY
It’s not just Eric. All the band plays so fxxxing good! The Albert Hall stands up and dance. Brilliant! 👍🏻🙏🏻
Blues Musicians Just Get Better With Time! What a Band! Love that Tone with the Wah! ❤
The guy on keys was unreal dude
Love that respect of the crowd. No security or big barriers in the way, yet not one dickhead jumping up onto the stage. Mad respect you never see that.
Smoking hot ! The great man is just UNBELIEVABLE. He's a legend in a class of his own. Brilliant gifted artist.
Lets not forget this song was written by the very talented JJ Cale, a good friend of Clapton
70 plus still as amazing as ever!
Well he is like close to God level in music, awesome artists, my fav guitarist that I ever heard, he also did a lot promoting music, etc.
Just came to me, like BB performed in his late life as well and many Blues guys were up in age too.
Point being?
Well, I suppose while he is best and it comes to him easier than to many, there were also some pretty fancy guitar picking men that played in their life.
I am happy for Eric that he can do what he loves on amazing level at 70.
God Bless.
That's Cocaine!
I love the story of the first time a young Eric Clapton was taken by his manager to check out Jimi Hendrix fresh in London and still unknown he apparently said??? “ you never said he was this fucking good” and walked off shell shocked!!!! And he’s considered as guitar God and knows it and knew it then too!!! Got to got to GOT TOO love his humility 👏👏👏
I like the clean kind of Kokaine...
Lord have mercy Amin 🥺
He is one of the greatest musicians of all time. I don't understand how anyone could argue that point!
Yet many fans never tried cocaine 😹😂
Well depending on your outlook, that could be a good thing, or the other way to see it is that they've missed out

We would of not seen the best without him. Greatest g. Player ever
I wanted to see a live version of the song so I searched „cocaine“ and noticed that I had completely forgotten that cocaine is actually a drug
same i searched cocain and it brought up something about gordon ramsey
But then this song is a song against the use of cocaine... JJ Cale wrote it for his rythem guitarist Christine Lakeland (who he'd later marry) as she was hooked on it... just listen to the text "don't forget this fact, you can't get it back..." :p
Well that video of clapton performing it live in 85 or so is like a drug to me in and of itself
