The Ben’s significant skill benefit is that he can read the course and make better shots accordingly. That is why he could probably beat any pro footballer without training.

This guy puts the ball in 2 and 3 touches most of the times.
Messi to win needs to put the ball in in his first touch or maximum second to win..
There is not room for improvement, that the skills of a professional footballer would help.
If it would take 6-7 shots for this champion, and it would involve strength and maybe room for long shoots(Messi would not be ideal for this type) maybe a pro footballer would have the edge.

Most pro footgolfers use a jubalani which surprises me with the inconsistencies when the ball travels through the air
Maybe it's not as inconsistent as people think. It might just exaggerate normal movements, but people aren't playing with that kind of precision.
@@robertt9342 I’m not sure. I have had the ‘pleasure’ if you can call it that 😂 of using the jubalani and I can assure you the ball even has major inconsistencies when moving even with normal movements. Even passes slightly off the floor behave differently to almost any other ball I have used
@@to_radiant6915 . Never had much of a problem with it using it for half a soccer season. Never had any problems with passes using it. All I found was that it would curve more. The “inconsistencies” I saw could usually boil down to not taking into account the natural movement of the ball being exaggerated. Maybe I am just a basic player, but it didn’t seem too bad to me.

@@robertt9342 don’t get me wrong the ball is not as bad as perhaps history remembers it, however the problem with it is, if the ball is not struck perfectly central the forgiveness is so much worse than the average ball which can cause big anomaly’s in the way the ball moves. Where as a normal ball is much more forgiving in terms of movement. In a game where you need to be as accurate as possible it seems an odd choice. Obviously as a lot of pro foot golf players use it, there must be a good reason I just can’t think of it myself 😂
I've played foot golf. It's great fun. My football team did it at the end of the season as a treat. Would definitely recommend having a go.

A pro footgolfer uses the Jabuni for it's distance, however its inconsistent so I'd personally can't help but think an old Total 90 footy would be better. maybe they don't know about it enough. Total 90 Aerow 2, it came in blue and white and yellow and purple. Greatest football of all time

So strange how when you play footgolf you suddenly lose the ability to just ping a straight high ball, on a pitch you can ping it 60 yards across but on the tee I always seem to curl it massively left with no height 🤣 so much harder than it looks
Exactly what happened to me, except I hit a hole in one on the final hole
Well on a pitch its a much better surface than the footgolf course
the sound it makes after making in the hole is very satisfying

Roberto Ayala plays footgolf seriously and he was a brilliant pro. Ben’s better than him.
Distance is an advantege but, in footgolf the most important thing is precition and control. Ederson kicks like a monster but ben destroys him.
Well that's a very simple answer: the professional would beat him.
