- This week I travel south to Newport Beach, California! As I wait out the weather on a mooring, I find out that this place has more to offer than meets the eye.

Another time you might try running your bow line outside everything back to the cockpit and then pick up the mooring ball there. Once you’ve got the ball you can take the line forward & then deal with the stern.
Thats how I would have done that.I single handed for over a year on the west coast of Canada Georgian Gulf Islands and had to learn how to manage anchoring, moorings etc.
Make sure your vent is open on your tank. Sometimes they don’t get enough air to let the fuel flow causing you to keep priming the bulb.
A day out sailing in bad weather is still better than a good day in the office ;) I know too well the struggles of single handing. Glad I am not alone :D

Thanks! I only have 2 cameras, a GoPro Hero 10 Black and a Canon EOS M3. I think I used the GoPro for the majority of this video.
