- Today I'm on a mission to eat at the best reviewed vegan restaurant here in my city. After some searching and yelp reviews, I booked a reservation at Planta on Queen here in Toronto, and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Asian fusion vegan, need I say more?

Lowest rated vegan restaurant in Toronto has got to be Apiecalypse, because they get all those anti-choice trolls trying to tank them. So you’ll have an amazing time there too.
it has perfect ratings on yelp
Visited Toronto not too long ago and had the pig destroyer pizza there. It was super delicious. Great cinnamon doughnuts too.
Wow, the food there looks bomb!!😍🤤 And yes, plese do more restaurant reviews; that's such a fun idea!
Looks amazing! I've been putting off going because Planta tends to be $$$$. I wish they listed prices on their site!
auralglory they do
Ugh WANT.
Dumplings 😍
This looked like a wonderfully balanced, varied series of plates. A truly special meal out. Tasting vicariously through you two! TFP : )
I really enjoyed this type of video .♥️
All of it looked so delicious 😍😍
You say the “to” at the end of Toronto 😜. I live about an hour north & you’ve inspired me to make the trip to visit Planta!!
I’d love to see more vids like this! This made me so hungry for Asian food
FIRST! Lol 😂 Love these types of videos Btw 💜I don’t have any vegan restaurants near me unfortunately
just went to planta queen last night!!! those potato dumplings and udon noodles were amazing!!
Ugh. I need to get my passport or something so I can road trip to Toronto! 😍 All of that food looked amazing! Can't wait to see what the one star will be!
That looks so yum!
This is one of my favourite restaurants! The food is absolutely delicious 😍
The food looks creative, beautifully presented and delicious! This was fun and interesting. If we get to visit, we’d check it out for sure!
Looks good!
omg all of them look soooooo good
Omg I need to fly to Toronto just to go there!! Asian fusion is my favorite. Everything looks SO GOOD
omg i knew it would be planta! aha i’ve been meaning to go
Wow looks super yummy 😋!
I wish we had one in Reno! Everything looks amazing. 🤤😍
Yes! Planta is so good
Planta Yorkville is my fave... will need to try this one!
So i'm in toronto until the 29th (coming to see you at the sustainable vegan event!) AND planta queen is by far my favourite place here!! Those SHANGHAI NOODLES are incredible!! and their dumplings and the bang bang broccoli. Just to die for
Oh yum! I keep a list of popular vegan restaurants that I know I will never go to because just reading the menus inspire me and gives me ideas and I can usually google similar recipes from the descriptions. I love a good bang bang!
That's actually a pretty good idea!
That nails-dessert match was incredible.
That mango forbidden rice dish looked awe some👍🍚
i went to planta yorkville for my bday in may and it was soooo good. im still thinking about their birthday cake it was the best
In Phoenix, AZ top rated for vegan desserts and sweets is called Nami. For food, all fighting for the top spot, Loving Hut, Vegan House, Green New American, and The Coronado PHX. 😋
Think you might try to recreate some if the dishes you come across? That broccoli looked amaze-balls.
try out more vegan restaurants! this was good!
i swear i’ve never heard torontonians overpronouncing the T so much lol
I’m still thinking about that meal 😍
Annnndddd living vicariously while eating a pint of blueberries LoL
That broccoli looked omg 🤤
UGH YES! I went there two weeks ago, everything was AH-MAZE-ING!
Looks fabulous!@ Best vegan restaurant near me in central western NJ is a restaurant right over the border in New Hope PA called Sprig and Vine.
Sprig and Vine is fantastic! It reminds me a bit of Vedge in Philly.
I live in Tacoma, WA. It depends which website you look at but we pretty much have a tie for top resturant between Quickie Too, which has lots of comfort food, and Viva, which has more healthy options. I really want to try both but Quickie Too doesn't have as many gluten free options where Viva is all gluten free.
Top rated in Philly is probably Vedge or V street. So many awesome vegan spots here!
We got your cookbook and every recipe is amazing. I feel like you should try to make your own restaurant. I mean at least a food truck.
I don’t have anything like this near me! Waaaa 😭😭 it looks so good!!!
You seriously make me want to move to Toronto lol
Ive been to plantansouth beachand it was incredible so unique and bouji. Just soo expensive
If you come to Milwaukee, Wisconsin try Strange Town! Super yummy! Been following you forever! Love your channel.
Was vegetarian for 9 years. Just got super sick and became allergy to almost everything but meat and some veggies. 💀 now I’m on the mend. Hoping that when my gut and body heal to go vegan completely. Your channel as legit been my food porn for a few days now. #noshame can’t wait to eat real food soon! Thanks for helping me thru this tough time.
Cafe B52 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, bedt rated place in Pittsburgh, and personally my favorite place ever
I need to go to Toronto. Right now.
Austin,Tx My favorite is Bistro Vonish and Beer Plant
Okay I’m hungry now 😍
Seems like a good time to be vegan - there are a lot of tasty recipes now more than ever!
You have more than 1! We have one vegan restaurant 2 cities away. It's a 40 minute drive. You are so lucky!
Oh man, we need a place like this in Austin. We have vegan spots but the majority are food trucks, lol. We need a fancy joint like this. Looks absolutely amazing.
Christina Mata Beer Plant and Citizen Eatery are really nice fancy vegan restaurants :)
@@alexissssrodriguezz2 Wow, thanks! I just looked up the menus and I am definitely going to check out the Beer Plant! I've never heard of these places! (I love gluten, which is why I'm somewhat less excited about the other one 😬.) But seriously, thanks! I will be treating myself this weekend! 👍
Christina Mata I'm glad they were helpful! I'm from Austin too so I go to these places pretty often :) I know you said you love gluten, but the breakfast scrambles (using the JUST egg) at Citizen are bomb. Their chicken nachos and "mixed fry basket" are so delicious! Hope you enjoy Beer Plant too!
Yes!! I’m from New York but visited Austin for 4 days and went to Beer Plant twice! It was amazing both dinner and brunch blew me away!! Highly recommend the mac n cheese (not very cheesy, more of a homemade cashew cheese base, but delicious nonetheless), buffalo cauliflower, and buffalo chick’n n waffles (brunch)
Just liked the vid for your friend's "hallmark worthy" quote lmao
Stefania Popaluca 🙈
OK I’m trying that. I’ll have to fly from the U.K. to Toronto but I’m trying that.
lol i wish that i was in canada...i've got to visit Toronto one day
I loved the restaurant!!! Pricey but at least you get the best testing food! The worst would be paying a lot of money for crap food lol
Try sushi Momo in Montreal!!
Where did you get your top from ?
Our highest is Watercourse. However, this is an incredibly vegetarian and vegan friendly city so you can find food at most establishments including places like Brother's BBQ. (Denver)
I wasn't impressed by Meta unfortunately, but I do love Native Foods.
If you get the chance, head down to Colorado Springs to The Burrowing Owl. Love that place
@@vejen2725 oh and Veggie Grill. Their fries are absolutely delicious and they give you a huge portion. 😍
the comment about bad service at vegan restaurants, WHY IS THAT SO TRUE??.
Where’s the rest of this series?!
Are you from Toronto? Because I've never heard someone pronounce it that way LOL
How was the vegan sashimi though?!!
You should do the Alphabetic eating challenge. Jazzybumvlogs did it where for the day she had to eat foods in alphabetical order, but you should do it vegan style
How do you stay slim & fit ? I Think you have said you have had a history with body image issues and an eating disorder, so how do you manage to stay SO skinny while having a career centered around eating and quite often eating not-so-healthy vegan junk
foods as well as binge eating for the challenges you do... please explain
I'm soooo curious what the worst rated place will be. Glancing at google there aren't a lot of really badly rated vegan places that are still open...
Isn’t the best part of your job reading the feedback from your subscribers? 😆 lol
I’m actually surprised Fresh isn’t #1 because it’s the bestttttttt
Did the dishes have much protein in them? They mostly looked like rice, fruits, fungi, and vegetables
I recommend www.portiascafe.com in Columbus, OH. Vegan and Raw Vegan too! Portia is becoming the Vegan Queen of Ohio's Capital. She's in the process of opening two more restaurant s after expanding the first, and opening a health food store too! Her Broccoli Soup is to die for!
After you try the worst, treat yourself to Playa again.
Are you guys dating? You’re SO adorable together!!! xxx
TURRONA
Did you end up doing the worst vegan restaurant?
Am I the only veg who doesn’t want my food to taste of fish or meat ?
Notmuchofanything, I prefer my food not to remind me of the taste of animal products too. If I wanted to eat something that reminds me of animal products I would just eat animal foods but then I would be contributing to the cruelty to animals, the destruction of the planet and be unhealthy.
I didnt know anthony was vegan.
Matthew Martini not entirely, but I do eat a lot of plant based food :)
I will weigh in with my ‘worse vegan restaurant; bar none it is “Hogtown”
in Toronto. To be fair to the establishment
I gave them a total of 3 separate visits, with
each subsequent visit sinking deeper into the
‘worse food & service ever category’. The last visit culminated in my asking “may this plate please be returned to the kitchen as it is in editable to me?” The dish was curry which was so utterly unbalanced in the spice department and tasted like the chef fell asleep standing up & with the chili powder in hand, spilling the entire shaker straight onto the rice calling this travesty “a curry”. It was unbelievably poorly executed....so badly made that the first taste of the meal ended up
in my napkin. I couldn’t swallow it! (I have eaten many curries over the years so I am used to chili powder) My request to return the plate back to the kitchen was denied, my
date found his meal equally unsatisfactory
and we paid full price for 2 plates uneaten. The waitress had no genuine concern regarding our disappointment and her attitude and statement was, “So, you don’t
like our food then don’t come back. Here’s your bill”. We didn’t leave a tip. Worse food
& worse service EVER! I have been vegetarian over 50 years, and, I’ve never been so appalled as I was on that evening in that restaurant. Grotesque representation of veganism! Yea: I vote “Hogtown” on Bloor St West as the worse vegan eats in Toronto.
Auto-correction spelling error .... inedible*
Have you been to Hogtown Vegan restaurant yet!!!?
Wait who is the new guy? Is he your sexy gay friend or is there a new partner in town?
Here is my first rule about watching you tube. As soon as I hear "super excited " I'm done. Rule number two, if rule number one is fulfilled in the first 30 seconds I unsubscribe.
BYEEEEE
Overpriced & underwhelming; a perfect gimmicky place for pretentious folk with big wallets seeking attention in the hopes others will deem them as cool & trendy.
